If you want a quick and inexpensive meal in Te Anau then this is the place to go. Right next door to a very good bottle shop, you can eat in with a beautiful bottle of NZ Sav Blanc and watch the world go by, as there are a lot of back packers from all over the world staying in... More

This place is just an average fish and chip shop. The food was fine, and the quantities were fine, but not a place to go out of your way to eat at. The fish wasn't crispy, and just fell apart. It tasted good, but the batter was a bit soggy. We had the whiting, and the orange ruffy. The price... More

We stopped here as we had a long day and were looking forward to kicking back with our takeaways, which unfortunately were edible, but not great. Mine was dry and my partners was all soggy and fell apart, a bit on the pricey side food we couldnt eat all of. Chips are pretty awesome though! Found the staff a bit... More

Stopped over on the way to Milford Sound. Had the special of the day which was battered cod, salad and chips. I don't usually enjoy fish and chips but this one was really tasty, even the salad was thoroughly enjoyable. The owner was really friendly and talked to us about out trip. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

We decided to eat here based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor. It was ok, but we were all somewhat underwhelmed with our meals, and had expected more based on the reviews. The blue cod was nice, but the paua patty was pretty awful.

We stopped here for a quick lunch. The fish and chips were great. The owners were most friendly. We had the cod. The calamari was very tender.
