Come in here for dinner while staying in Te Anau. My mate and I both ordered the venison pie with kumera chips and salad. The pie was ok, all I could taste was a strong beef stock flavour and not the venison. The kumera chips didn't come with any sauce but was given some when asked. The 'salad' which was... More

They serve a pretty good leg of lamb here. The meat is moist and tender (easily peeled from the bones) and it is complemented with sweat peas, a tasty mash potatoes and a dark savoury sauce. The mushroom soup and Caesar salad were average so not much to comment there. If you are in the area and looking for a... More

We really enjoyed our meal here and it was a good menu for our kids. The food was hot and very tasty. Our 3 teenagers all enjoyed their meals too. And good value for a family. Our waitress was very friendly. We will definately return there when back in Te Anau.

We stopped in for a curry and a glass of wine. The food was tasty and hot. The service was friendly but erratic and not attentive. It is the end of the season and things seem to be dropping off. As the restaurant was almost empty I would have expected a bit more.

Went here for dinner after an excursion, nice warm pub, footy on the telly. Food was very average and the service was best described as blunt.

We popped into the Distinction Luxmore on two occassions during our trip to Te Anau. Once for breakfast prior to a hike and one for a few drinks. The bar and restaurant is nice and cozy. Both times we went in it was not overly busy (though we did visit when the peak season was slowing down for winter). The... More

Good range of meals from kids to full mains and lite options. We went on a busy night and still got our food fast (drinks strangely took longer to arrive than the meals). Main waitress (Scottish lass) doing a brilliant job on the food side, keeping everyone attended to.

very busy restaurant but the food seemed to have no love to it. Turning out plates quickly but not quality. Coleslaw drowned in vinegar was not my idea of a "salad". Has a fetish with having as many different plates and dishes on meals as possible which annoyed me. Wouldn't return -sorry

We had a breakfast here, which was a good portion at a reasonable price We went back again at night as I noticed that they did a smaller 200gm rib eye steak. This portion was quite adequate for me. The staff were efficient and attentive
