Came here and the place was packed! The lovely staff managed to squeeze us in and find a table. I had the ribs and they were absolutely delish! Service was friendly and fast, would go back if I'm ever in Te Anau again

Great way to start the day in this very nice Cafe. Waitress was also very helpful with points of interest along our travels for the day.

Great service, warm and cosy with an excellent lunch menu. This restaurant was a local's suggestion so it must be good. We all had different choices from Seafood Chowder to Pasta to Wedges and it all came out presented well, piping hot and it was jolly good food. Would definitely try this place again and the Thai born waitress was... More

We used their advertised deal of a "light" meal with drink for $20. We were delighted with the food quality. Portion size was huge, so we could not empty our plates. Service was very good and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

The atmosphere is quite nice, also the service is not too bad. The problem is the food. We were two persons and ordered a lamb burger and a vegetarian cheese fettuccine. The burger's been cold, had no flavor unless the meat smack of older sheep instead of lamb. The cheese sauce was definitely an instant one (probably a cheap one),... More

Well this was a little surprise. We stopped for breakfast and was greeted and looked after by the lovely Amanda. The food was unbelievable, great CRISPY BACON. We spoke to a couple who had had dinner the night before and they loved that so much they were back the next day. Amanda was so friendly that my daughter has done... More

Fat Duck was recommended to us by many locals, including our B&B hosts. We went on a very cold night, it seemed like the heat wasn't working in the restaurant. We had to get up and move away from the windows and keep our coats on just to stay warm. My husband had the "hot pie" which he loved. I... More

The restaurant was recommended to us by our coach driver and we are really thankful to him for that! It was by far one of the best culinary experiences we made during our trip in NZ. I had a delicious soup of the day (which happened to be the Thai pumpkin soup) with garlic bread and my husband a tasty... More

We had been recommended the Fat Duck from our hotel as a good place to go for the internet. We headed in and looked at the menu, happy to try the all day $20 meal and drink deal. We started with a lunch of a single meal between the two of us, the pasta dish. It was delicious and filled... More

We were referred to this restaurant and were definitely not disappointed. I had the best lamb salad ever. My husband also enjoyed his meal. The service was great. The food quantity and quality were super!
