We booked a table for 7 pm and there were a few diners already in the restaurant but it wasn't as busy as I would have expected considering the size of the hotel. We both had two courses starting with the crab and I had the lamb for my main. Food was good and although there was not a huge... More

We were exhausted one night and decided just to head down to the hotel restaurant for dinner. My husband had the fish and I chose the soup and chicken special they had that evening. Great friendly, accomodating staff. The waitress was a darling and the Chef was Excellent. They served us even though we arrived too late and they were supposed to be closed. The food was really excellent and the complementary tiny dessert for a taste was the clincher. We'll definitely go there again and recommend it to everyone!!!

This restaurant looks good, and serves equally good looking food. It did however represent poor value though, with excessive prices for inadequate portions. Average main price was $40 - you could eat for cheaper in one of Auckland's top restaurants.

The menu looked good but could have cooked a roast in the time it took to cook the steak
