Incredible food. Great wine pairing. Make reservations in advance so you don't miss this experience. P.S. unadvertised 20% surcharge for holidays was an expensive 'surprise' and felt a little dingy given we spent over $300 for 2 people.

We found this gem of a bar online, listed as 'one of the world's best'. We weren't disappointed. Cool service, cool, professional, attentive, gorgeous service from all 3 staff members late on a Friday night. Generous measures, both g & t's and cocktails made to perfection by knowledgeable staff. Thoughtful, tasteful, intelligent decor. We will return but let's keep this... More

Looked forward to the experience and booked months ahead. The atmosphere and cocktails were perfect and Kathy our lovely Irish waitress made us feel so welcome. The food tastes great but is just mean and poor value when you compare it to the many other wonderful eating experiences in Queenstown. We did the 'right thing' and politely made our observations... I was recommended to The Bunker by the bartender at the Atlas Pub. I would never have found the place or eaten there on my own. The outside is not remarkable while the inside is dark although warmed by a large centrally located fireplace. The menu is extensive and interesting for such a small dining room. We ordered the salmon... More

Visited The Bunker during our recent trip to Queenstown. We dined midweek and enjoyed wonderful service from a lovely Irish waitress, and outstanding food from the chefs. Starting with the beef tartare dish and continuing with duck and venison mains. All were beautiful. would highly recommend a visit.

What a joy to taste so many good ingredients as part of The Taste of the South Menu - a great job by all at The Bunker - thank you. Would definitely return for a number of the A la Carte menu choices after trying the taster. Well worth a visit.

You know that if you end up at the Bunker that it has been a big night...a great place to finish up with a few cocktails that the next day you may regret but at the time are amazing. Cool drinks, great staff...

Have been to Queenstown every year for the past 3 years and have tried all the trip advisor restaurants. We were told by friends that The Bunker was amazing and for some reason never dined here. We finally made it this time around and it was beautiful. It is up there with our top 3 restaurants in Queenstown. My husband... More

Menu was uninteresting. The food was good but way overpriced for what it was. Service was snotty (except the manager who was very helpful wrt to tips on what to do in Queenstown). Most expensive meal in NZ.

really liked the atmosphere of this place, the staff were knowledgeable on making a great cocktail and we spent way longer there than we thought we would there, made a few friends and will be going back next time for sure.
