Incredible food and service

It was one of the best dining experiences we had in Queenstown. What we loved was the amazing combination of tastes and textures. We had the Lamb, beef, and Venison- all done to perfection and the accompanying sides were delightful. One of the entree we had was the mushroom...OMG..it is a must to... read more

Kept this as our last choice for our honeymoon in Queenstown and we were not disappointed. Dont let appearances fool you. The way I see it, it truly is a hidden gem reminding you of Melbourne lanes. From the minute we got there, we were ushered to the first level and had the loveliest waitress take care of us. The... More

We booked into the restaurant from a recommendation, from start to finish it didn't dissapoint us. We ordered from the menu & all had 3 delicious courses. The staff were excellent & knew their wines & the food that was on offer that night. The log fire made the room cosy but not too hot. It is a small restaurant... More

It was upon my 13 hour flight from the U.S. to New Zealand that my seat mate said I have to try The Bunker if I was going down to Queenstown. Thank you seat 40F! What a great recommendation. My friend and I went the day after Valentine's Day so the menu was a little sparser than normal. I actually... More

There were 20 of us on a week long golf trip and we'd booked the private dining room for the first night. I started off with the tasting plate for two and it was just delicious and a great representation of the entree menu. I then had the lamb for mains and the brûlée for dessert, both dishes stunning. Everyone... More

I booked the Valentines Day Degustation Menu. From start to finish we were amazed. There was a single red rose on the table and the free champagne was just the beginning. The menu and wait staff were excellent and explained clearly some of the dishes that we didn't understand. I would totally recommend, one of the best meals we have... More

The Bunker doesn't look very special from the outside but is very good inside. As you enter there is a strong smell of wood smoke from an open fire but even though the room is small it wasn't too hot. We had the taster menu and included the wines chosen by the restaurant. There are seven courses and a choice... More

This small restaurant is a gem. We had booked via the internet but found it hard to locate. Once inside we liked the cosy atmosphere and the two waitresses (backpackers)were well versed in the menu and wines. It didn't take much to convince us to have the entire tasting menu with matching wines and we loved every morsel! It is... More

We had visited this restaurant several years ago and decided on a return visit. Our waiter and waitress were warm and friendly and the service and food first class. Thoroughly recommended.

We came for a birthday dinner, it took us awhile to decide on set menu's or just go off the the main menu. During this time we got asked if we wanted a drink, yes we did however only the males in the party were served, we had to flag down another waitress to get a wine. It was a... More
