Slow service

We stopped here for a drink before we went for dinner, we wanting somewhere were we could watch the boats come in. Great views but the service was slow. We couldn't order our drinks at the bar we had to place them with the waiter then wait for about 15 minutes before receiving them.

Wifey and I had lunch here. Firstly will start by saying, what a fantastic location. It's a great spot right on the Queenstown waterfront. Service was a little slow. We stood at the entrance for a couple of minutes before we were approached. We were given a seat then sat there for quite a while before being asked if we... More

Menu didn't match what was listed out on the chalkboard. Busy place. Food was good but not outstanding.

We sat on the outside sofa, watched the water, and enjoyed coffee. Lovely service. The menu looks hood; its related the Captains' where we ate earlier this week

We stayed in Qtwn and on the last night decided to celebrate with a lovely meal -after finding this place we asked how long to be served which due to language differences was told " I can seat you now -"how long before meal ? " and can we sit inside ? No,no too full but we have blankets! Now...this... More

Ate here for our last dinner in Queenstown and it was great! The server was very personable and knowledgeable. We had the rack of lamb and it was one of the best I had ever had! He paired it with a great wine selection. Fantastic meal. Fantastic view. No rushing, just a perfect, relaxing meal!

This a really good place to have diner or a couple of drinks. Staff is welcoming and the food is excellent. Nice selection of wines and whiskeys. Prices are pretty average for the type of dining, so expect 40 bucks for a main, but it's worth it.

My fiancé and I shared the seafood platter and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and gave very good desert recommendations!

Just minutes walk along the lakefront from our hotel, we chose this restaurant to go back to for dinner after a fabulous lunch. The outside seating during the day is a great place to people watch and enjoy the harbor front activities with the spectacular mountains across the lake. The food was top quality and reasonable for lunch . Dinner... More

Pier 19 remains our favourite wharf-side restaurant! Both the food and the service is outstanding. The décor inside (when the weather is poor) is modern and even the bathroom facilities are modern and comfortable. Besides a very personal service from skilled waitrons, the menu is diverse. This is a really great place to eat and, sometimes, listen to live light... More
