Ate lunch here for our last meal in New Zealand prior to flying home. Location is very good, overlooking the lake. Service got off to a slow start. We were given menus but waited a while for anyone to take our order. Eventually attracted the attention of a waitress and asked for order to be taken as we had plane... More

Had dinner here. Love the way the lamb for two was served. Great food. Great views. Definitely will come back again.

We had lunch in the sun here one day. It is full of tourists like us but the location is very nice: you can watch the people stole by, watch the seagulls or just look at the mountains and the lake. I ordered duck breast with salad. My husband had fish. My duck was extremely tough and barely cooked. The... More

Pier 19 has great views of the water and the Remarkables. It also has a very friendly and attentive staff. My husband and I completely enjoyed the seafood platter - plenty of food for two people to share. If I had more time in Queenstown, I would like to have gone back a second time!

Out of all the restaurants we passed this looked busy but not noisy and the menu gave good choices. The waiter directed us to a table in the corner when we expressed concern that it might be too breezy to sit outside and he was right about it being sheltered. The two fish mains, tuna and monk fish, came promptly... More

Pier 19 has amazing food. The service is fantastic and you get the added bonus of a blanket to keep you warm so you can enjoy the stunning views on offer.

We had breakfast here - pancakes tasted like supermarket pikelets and with blueberries and mint, very odd combination. Croque Madame had egg ontop which was undercooked. Very disappointing meal.

My boyfriend and I had a great evening here having decided to treat ourselves to kick off our holiday. The food was excellent; we had the whole lamb shoulder for two. The waiter was really knowledgeable about the menu and the wine and helped us pick a good, local Pinot Noir. My only criticism of the service is that our... More

This is a great spot on the wharf to sit, watch the TSS Earnslaw come and go, people watch, and enjoy a brew. Location is nice in that you are sheltered from the wind while sitting on the outdoor patio. Service was very friendly and attentive!
