My first visit for dinner a couple of years ago was disappointing both value and quality. BUT Im please to say that this time I found much better. Went with a family group, and everyone really enjoyed their food. Good family style dining right down to the perfect Irish coffee that was served to Nana.

We spent our last night in this bustling place.Would recommend reserving as fills quickly. Meal delicious sides tasty and bar variety enough to make you feel like home. Amenities clean, but one per gender could prove interesting later in the evening.

We enjoyed the visit as a family group. Every pallet catered for, with a small but varied menu. The entrees were sufficient to enjoy as a main course. The entree fig dish in particular! The wine list was local and staff well educated with food matching. Great atmosphere, good value.

We had a nice lunch of the Special Chowder. It was 'different'. Not a standard Chowder at all but we enjoyed even though it was a little undersized. They have some superb wines also by the glass but OTT on the price. We took a bunch there for dinner but the locals saw ridiculous mark up on the wines so... More

I came here on my own for a nice dinner. I had a soup for starter, a vegetable pasta for main and a trio of crème brulle's for dessert. They were all quite tasty. I had a passionfruit cocktail which was really delicious. Only disappointment was that the descripton of my pasta was a little different to what I got,... More

I don't like eggs, so I ordered the Poached eggs and streaky bacon on toasted ciabatta with grilled pesto tomato, sans eggs, with mushrooms instead. The coffee was good (but pricey), and the bacon, pesto tomatoes and mushrooms were all tasty. However, this was not, as advertised, served on toasted ciabatta, but rather cheap pre-sliced, toasted supermarket white bread; dry,... More

Nice room, friendly staff, good wine list. Came with a group of 6 people. We ordered 3 steaks and 3 lamb shanks. Steak came out cooked properly to order. Unfortunately the lamb shanks were barely luke warm with cold mash. Once they were re-done, they were much better. (They didn't just reheat thank goodness) Food was tasty but the cold... More

Great breakfasts, very reasonably priced, can build your own cooked breakfast from $8.50. Lovely atmosphere and toasty warn inside on those chilly mornings. Surprised by the negative reviews. Would reccomend to others, we ate there most mornings.

We are glad we hadn't checked Tripadvisor prior to visiting Tatler's as we wouldn't have gone based on the reviews and we would have missed out on an excellent meal. My wife and I shared two entrees, two mains and a dessert, all of which were delicious and of good size. Would definitely visit again when in Queenstown.

Had breakfast here ordered the poached eggs $8.50 special but the item that came out was the other poached eggs at $14.50. Coffee not great but drinkable.
