a very nice restaurant with great food. but on the other hand, it was a little pricy and the portion of the food was not generous but not stingy. you get the idea. I'm still glad i went though.

Wonderful food and service. Lamb is what they do best. Service was prompt and the servers were all extremely pleasant. Not the cheapest restaurant in town though. Worth a visit if not on a budget.

What a delicious dinner - highly recommend. I had the lamb shank and my husband had the lamb shoulder - both of which were very tasty. Good size portions and service was very attentive. Our meals came with sides so no need to buy extra. Prizes seemed reasonable for a highly rated restaurant in queenstown. There was a strange noise... More

We've been going to Roaring Megs, of and on, for fifteen years. There is no question that the food is first class. They excel in the Lamb dishes, and provide innovate alternatives that both tease, and please, the palate. Combined with great service and an outstanding wine list, from a foodies point of view it is oustanding. But they do... More

This was our first visit to Roaring Megs and it won't be our last. My husband and I ventured in not knowing what to expect as we hadn't booked. From the moment we walked in the door to we left we were blown away by the service and food. We enjoyed an entree between us which was pork belly. The... More

I'd like to "Roar" to the whole of Queenstown and its future visitors...you must eat here!!!! We ate here on one of the coldest days of our visit. It was freezing and we opened the little colonial door to Roaring Megs where not only warmth from the heating greeted us but warmth from the owners and staff. The setting is... More

One of the best resturants I have eaten at. The food was outstanding, flavoursome and so well presented. A cosy intimate atmosphere with great service.

This restaurant is annually awarded for its lamb and beef dishes. Roaring Meg's has a long history and is shared to you through the photos and information at the restaurant. Great atmosphere for the fine dining. Food was stunning and the wine selection was at great prices..well below average charged. A lovely evening. The only downside, there is a fitness... More
