Beautiful meal. Even the children enjoyed it!!! The lamb shanks and venison were awesome and the oysters were incredibly fresh.

We visited Roaring Megs for a night out in Queenstown without the kids. What can we say - a perfect meal from start to finish. We tried the lamb rack .... Which was the best lamb I have ever tasted, simply superb. My wife had the venison which also simply delicious. The service was attentive, with some great local matching... More

We went to Megs for a more traditional New Zealand lamb meal. The food, wine and service were very good. Lamb is available in a number of variations.

This is a nice little restaurant with great food. Don't go hungry though because it can take a while for food to be served. We specifically made an early reservation because we have young ones. Took them a long time to serve. Lucky they served us some bread and drinks :)

We came here as part of a staff function and had a 5 course meal! Every single dish was amazing! The award winning lamb dish I had was fantastic, sure the best in town! Service was outstanding!

We came for a staff night out for dinner to Roaring Megs...it was delicious!!! The presentation of each dish was beautiful and tasted even better! I loved that they have tons of gluten free options and knew their ingredients when I asked. Fantastic meal and awesome staff! Will be back again!!

Roaring Meg's is up on the first floor of a fairly anonymous building but the moment you step into the restaurant it all changes into a cosy dining club. This is fine dining promised by the menu and delivered. Friendly and efficient service complement the food. It is where to eat in Queenstown

Such a nice meal, deserts are amazing and the staff even better! My boyfriend had the Hare and I had pork, so tasty. For entrees we had the pasta and tasting plater which was a complete delight. Would go back for sure.

We went to Roaring Megs as the wine of the same name is one of our favourites. The restaurant itself has an old fashioned charm. We tried the pork belly entree which was small, but delicious, then the confit shoulder of lamb with lamb cutlets which was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Hereford beef eye fillet. The biggest draw back... More
