Recently moved to new premises upstairs in the mall. Nicely diverse menu. The chicken and corn with crab soup was great. Interesting take on venison in a number of dishes.

Stay away. Poor quality food. The food was bland. Very poor quality meat, very fatty and grisly. Rubbish.

If this is Chinese food, forget it... keep your money and have a real NZ treat and go somewhere else, you pay the same amount and eat so far better. The place is for Chinese visiting Queenstown, so don't ever think of going there it's a rip off. The place is established for groups where the touts and travel agents... More

As a group of bar/restaurant managers in town we managed to get a rare night off together and thought we'd give it a go. I saw a couple of bad reviews but thought screw it they're probably fussy eaters and we're a pretty laid back group. Where do I start. We had a table booked at 8 and fair enough... More

This "Chinese" dining place should never be suggested to any visitor to Queenstown, NZ. "Memories of Hong Kong" does not serve food that is cooked well and to top it all up, the food is tasteless. Staff can't speak proper English here and only God knows why they even have an outlet in NZ. "Forgetting of Hong Kong" should be... More

Typical cantonese cuisine, not great but not bad, caters for large chinese tour groups so at least the turnover is there, location right in the middle of town, service quite pleasant.

My wife and I had lunch here while on holiday. The service was very slow (for 2 bowls of noodles) and the quality of the food was pathetic. The staff seemed like they could not care less.

As an Asian looking for alternative fare in NZ (away from fish n chips & steaks), this is one place that I wanted to try out with a hope of finding some familiar tasting Asian fare. Though I was not hoping for much (given an asian restaurant in a caucasian country), I tried to order the simplest fare possible -... More
