The food, the wines, the courtyard, the view of the mountains. Delightful.

We had booked for the Wine Cave Tour at 11am and for lunch at noon. The Wine Cave Tour only lasts for half an hour but is very rich in information even for someone who knows a lot about wine. We recommend it. The restaurant proposes different (paying) tastings of the wines produced by this... read more

We hired bikes from Arrowtown and cycled here for lunch. What a great place for lunch, they had seats inside or out, in the shade or sun. You could have a full lunch or light and they had such a good selection. It was so nice to be able to try their wines. Service was very good and so was... More

Sat outside on a warm day looking for a light lunch and shared a platter between four and some wine flights with a couple of bowls of soup for the hungry. Delightful. All home made even the dolmas and delicious. Spent a couple of hours with friendly staff. Happy to reccomend.

Stopped for lovely wine and cheese platter at the Winery on a beautiful summer day; sat outside under the shade of a tree - fantastic. Sadly discovered the tours of the cellar 'tunnel' are only 1 / hour, and we'd missed the current one. Also discovered the Cheese Centre next door (shares the same car park) has just as good... More

Enjoyed a few days away in Queenstown and enjoyed a devine lunch, Blue Nose fish of the day and it was just perfect. Matched it with the award wining rose, my favourite Wine. Sat in the courtyard and enjoyed a relaxing few hours eating a sipping yummy vino!

Had a wonderful lunch at Gibbston - tasting trays and charcuterie in the sun and a couple of bottles of beautiful rose to take away ... summer heaven!!

I really liked the food and wine here. Our waiter was really lovely but some of the other staff were rude and pretentious. When I enquired about a wine the young man behind the counter seemed totally uninterested in serving me. This was a shame as it stopped me from buying wines from this vineyard. ( we bought from most... More

We came across the Gibbston Valley Winery by accident as I was driving down the highway. But was a create accident it turned out to be. We decided to stop for lunch and to chill out with out seven month old baby and it couldn't have been any better. The weather was amazing so we sat outside, the location is... More

This is the most popular winery in the Gibbston Valley and it's not surprising given the great food and wine. We enjoyed a wine tasting and cheese platter with a picnic on the grass. We also hired a bike from the winery and rode into Arrowtown, not to be missed!

on the 2nd of January my wife and I went to this restaurant for lunch. the food was excellent and the service was good. The baked octopus was exceptional, if a little small. What really upset me was the 15% surcharge for a public holiday. I complained to the Maître Di who said they had received many complaints but were... More
