We went to Finz with a First Table voucher. Sat at a nice corner window table. Very attentive and pleasant service, waiter has an excellent knowledge of their products. We started with a bread loaf, excellent bread. Mains we had lamb chops and a fish pie. Lamb chops were cooked to a perfect medium, no lamby taste which is good.... More

YUM! We came here late on Friday night without a booking & were seated on a lovely table opposite the kitchen. We had a seafood platter for 2, truffle mash & vegetables. The platter - to die for! When we ordered it I told my friend she could have the sashimi & tuna tartare as I didn't like either. Well... More

We eat here at Finz every time we come to Queenstown and it always delivers! The seafood is wonderful but there is plenty of choice for those who are not fussed on fish. The location is excellent and I must say the wait staff are superb. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I have no doubt we will be back again... More

Fabulous fish and chips and a great deal on the early bird special - $24 with a glass of house white! Children well catered for and welcomed!

Not only does this place have awesome seafood it also has beautiful lamb, beef, pork and venison. My wife and I shared the cob loaf for starter and I had the venison pot pie for mains whilst she had the pork ribs. It was all cooked to perfection and we had mulled wine to wash it all down with. We... More

Great food and great service! Staff was very kind and the lamb shoulder was great! And the view of the lake and the mountains is a nice plus.

A party of six of us dined at Finz during the Queenstown Winter festival. Located at the end of the wharf it is a short walk from the centre of town. The restaurant takes full advantage of its position and has great views from everywhere in the restaurant. There was a fireworks display as part of the Festival the night... More

The fish was great. Located on wharf so after dark not much to see of the lake and countryside. Best views during daylight.

It is actually not too bad at all. Seafood orientated restaurants that are away from the coast can sometimes disappoint in respect of freshness, but this does not. Yes, its a busy little place and its location on the steamer wharf definately helps here. The range of seafood is excellent. A great selection to choose from with the seafood platter... More
