We visited as a family group back over ANZAC weekend and had a great lunch. We did trust the chef and all came away very full! Would recommend this to anyone after a special dining experience. Worth the $$ spent

Wine, spectacular - wish there was more of it in one serving, trust the chef menu an unforgettable experience. 1 or 2 dishes were debatable however the salmon and leg of lamb were delicious! Would definitely recommend.

We booked on line for a lunch mid week.(book early or be disappointed) We arrived 10 minutes early and our table was ready. We encountered polite respectful staff a busy dinning room and were given a good table. Reservation system worked. We ordered a mixed menu and shared courses some amazing local produce & great wines. This is a funky... More

We had been looking forward to visiting Amisfield since the day we started planning our trip. Silly me thought I would be able to make a booking on the day we wanted to visit. I called at 10.30 to try and book for 3 adults and two kids, but was told we couldn't get in until 2pm as the weather... More

We had lunch on a Friday in July with our 2 children. We had people rave to us about this place so thought we'd check it out and we have been to lots of nice and expensive restaurants too I might add. I had the pork cheek my partner had some tasting platter (not sure of the exact name) and... More

Lunch booking for 16 conference delegates. Long table by the open fire looking out through large windows to the snow covered mountains. Started down stairs in the private wine cellar room with an excellent wine tasting and education session. The wines were very good but I particularly liked the 2013 pinot gris (a relatively exciting new wine for my taste... More

We went with my parents and 2 babies under 2. They had high chairs and an amazing kids box that fed the 8 month old and 2 year old with that great combination of healthy and sugary treats. Saying that it's not a 'kids' family restaurant. The food is share plate style and different in a good way. We had... More

Was recommended the Amisfield Winery Bistro for lunch. A delightful experience. Went on rather a dreary day but that did not deter from the outing. Reception was pleasant and we were seated immediately, the menu explained together with the recommended protocol to take full advantage of the restaurant. An open fire was blazing which made for a warm atmosphere. A... More

Went here for lunch and had the trust the chef menu with a glass of wine and dessert for $80. This is absolute fine dining down to the amuse bouche to start and the palate cleanser half way through. The food was absolutely delicious and I really enjoyed some less known ingredients such as farrow. The dishes all looked absolutely... More
