The only place offering a half decent craft beer range (dominated by Lion products...but hard to go wrong with Emersons) in Qtown. Funky compact little place, great waterfront location and tasty, cheap, for the location, menu. Bet the owner wishes he had more seating...

This is a fun, popular, noisy, dockside alehouse. It had been recommended to us for a casual dinner. It's a really great place to get a beer, sit outside and watch the Queenstown vibe happen. I give it 5 stars for that. But it is not so great for a meal - the cafe menu looked good, but they have... More

Small beer bar in a great location. They had about 10 beers on tap, about half from Emerson brewery. Lots of locals seemed to go there. Seating can be tough since it's small but who cares if you want good beer on tap.

We ate here for lunch as we were quite hungry after our flight into Queenstown and so happy we did. I got the burger which I think is better than fergburger and my husband got the roast beef sandwich - both of which were excellent. For lunch there was no waiting and plenty of seating. Server was friendly. Nice selection... More

If I was writing this review 6 months ago it would have been a hands down 5 star. Have eaten here regularly over the last twelve months so I don't know if I've just been unfortunate on my last two visits but their steaks haven't been up to the standard they have been in the past. Our last visit (quiet... More

Enjoyed a great breakfast at midday, (liked that their breakfast menu ran until 3pm) good size portions and beautifully presented, tasted great as well. Wonderful place to watch the world go by, see the Earnslaw slip out and really close to the lakefront willow swing.

Finding a seat is tricky part, but my friends and I frequent here every few weeks. The steaks are the amazing, especially for the price of $18.50. If your undecided for a beer choice, go for the 'emersons bookbinder', very good. Enjoy!

We sat on stools looking at the lake and watching people wander past, while eating lovely finger food and drinking wine and beer. Very relaxing, and atmospheric
