This is a 6-7 minute drive out of Queenstown in a residential area, but well worth it. The food is absolutely first rate, different from the usual tourist menu, served by one of the owners in afriendly, laid back but efficient manner while the other owner cooks - brilliantly! Very informal, unusual, relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere . Great wines, great food and excellent value for money. No views, but if you're concentrating on the food, wine and conversation who cares? Highly recommended.

5 of us where staying in Queenstown and we wanted to go out to supper on our last night there. The food was absolutely delicious , some of us had the blue cod special, while Others had the seafood chowder, we were not disappointed . The owners were delightful, couldn't have done any more for us, would recommend it to... More

We ate food form this place in our lodge as a takeaway, provided by the restaurant and served by the lodge, and it was excellent. We ordered a tandoori chicken pizza which was really tasty and the crust was not soggy which was remarkable after the trip up the hill and replating. We also ordered venison with risotto which was... This is located a few k out of town in a residential are so you will need a car or cab to get to it. Walking from town is not an option! The food is Bistro style and not that great. From the online menu and other reviews I was expecting something interesting, but it wasn't. We left feeling slightly... More

We had a good (very good in parts) dinner at Vknow. My husband particularly liked his Greek salad to start. My tomato bruschetta was average, not the best I have had. My blue cod green Thai curry was very good, served with perfectly cooked broccoli and jasmine rice. My husband's pan fried blue cod wIth salad and fried potatoes was... More

Get away from the crowd, and enjoy a great little local spot. Low key, relaxed atmosphere. Good food, nice wine selection. (Nextday update - Diarrhea)

As always truely amazing food, a super warm welcome with exceptional service and some awesome new wines to sample under the expert advice of Danny. Away from the noise of central town with its quirky decor (the toilets alone are worth the visit), this place is a must do for any one in town- ours was a great night had... More

We underestimated the walk here from our nearby apartment (up a steep hill in the rain) and so were very pleased when we arrived to discover it to be the absolute gem that many others have described it as. Well worth the taxi fare (or walk!) Whilst the weather and day we visited meant it was probably a lot quieter... More
