We walked past Fergburger a few times and the queues just to order were ridiculous so we gave it a miss. On our last day in Queenstown we wandered past and there was no queue and just a 20 minute wait for the food, so we gave it a shot. Both of us ordered the Big Al and it was... More

The staff was amazingly slow (I've seen 90 years old granny's moving faster in a kitchen). The burger itself (double cheeseburger): the patty was good but a little dry, the bun was good quality, the garnish average the sauce on the burger luckily made up the dry part of the patty. A long line was not necessary at the time... More

There was almost always a long wait for these delicious burgers, worth it if you are not desperate for food straight away and it's always hard to get a table. If you can get there at early hours of the morning (perhaps walking home from the pubs) you should be able to avoid lines. We were lucky once and our... More

Long line to order and generally takes about 20 minutes. The prices are quite reasonable for the size and the bughers are good but not spectacular. The burghers were very big and enough for a one person, but definitely not enough for two as some reviewers have mentioned. Certainly not the best burgher I've ever had, not as good as... More

My wife and I were told we had to have a Fergburger when in Queenstown, so we did. The lines to get one are long and there is very little space to sit down and enjoy it. We luckily found a seat and disappointed with the product. It tasted great because of the bun and condiments, but there is so... More

If you rate a burger by the actual burger patty, then I've certainly had better (Dirty Burger in London, for one), but the burger compositions here are very good, the burgers are huge (thin patties tho), the prices are pretty reasonable. They're seriously tasty, and I would definitely put them up there in the best burgers I've ever had. The... More

We heard about this cafe from friends, so decided to rock up for a try. We weren't disappointed at all, with a noticeable cue out front. All the burgers are fantastic, although service is a little slow. Its worth a visit to this iconic hamburger haven

The line of customers at Fergburger is out the door all day and evening. The burger is $11.50, but too big for one person to eat unless you haven't eaten in about two days. There are only a few seats here, so you may as well get it to go and walk to the nearby lake to eat. If you... More

I had a couple of visits to Fergburger, during my two stops in Queenstown. It really is excellent. Tried a variety of burgers, and they all lived up to expectations. My buddy is gluten free and they serve a gluten free bun for a slight additional fee, which is handy. Had the massive burger after a morning run and a... More

After much anticipation, fergburger did not disappoint! The food was so tasty - the burgers are huge - we ordered a side of chips which wasn't necessary! So full afterwards! The queue is always long no matter what time of day but seemed to move fairly quick. We were only waiting about 20mins & it was definitely worth it :-)
