Great place to eat

The only problem with this place is that it is so well liked you need to pick your time to visit as the tables are nearly always full at 12-1. They have the best cheese rolls in the South.

What a treat! Tucked away in the Southland museum is this wonderful little cafe. Great coffee, amazing home made food that has real flavour!! Generous portions and really well priced. The staff are so friendly and are what make this place special. Try the omelettes, so delicious!!! And the sweetcorn cheese rolls............. the best I've tried yet. 10/10.

I liked this café nestled in the Museum. A small selection of homemade food in the cabinets and a blackboard menu to order freshly made toasted sandwiches and cheese rolls. Delicious food, great coffee and super friendly service.

Food is tasty, service is quick with nice polite and helpful staff. Its simply a good little eatery for a quick coffee and bite to eat after a trip to the museum.

Lovely service and smiles. Coffee was really nice, and they had a good selection of food, with a real home-made feel to it. Lovely sushi too! Was recommended to me, and I'll be back for sure.

What a great find in a museum, yet. Limited selection of excellent light and not so light meals. Very good coffee, too. This is great museum, great cafe with fine service.

And good coffee too. Friendly staff complete the picture. Just a shame it's not open more tourist-friendly hours.

Near the entrance to the Museum, the Pyramid on Gala café was a nice little spot to sit after a walk through the museum. Nice seating and friendly staff, with a good coffee and some nice little snacks and cakes, the café was an excellent addition the museum. I highly recommend and trip through the museum and a stop at... More
