Had our first meal at this restaurant the other night for our wedding anniversary. Probably not the most romantic of places for a special occasion, being a bar with large televisions screening sport. We recommend this restaurant for a nice, quiet, lazy Sunday lunch or if you want a more upbeat atmosphere, Friday or Saturday nights. The meals are very reasonable and large enough to satisfy all appetites.

Have had a couple of meals here and have not had one complaint. Great service and excellent food and the drinks are always good down south

Speights is well known for its micro brewery ales and its own superb range, so not surprising, this outlet in Invercargill is just lovely. Sit outside and watch the world go by and enjoy the ale.

I was in Invercargill for work, went for a bite to eat here and was very pleased i did. Place was very busy due to the start of the Burt Munro but was served quickly. Food was great and the beer and wine i had was very good.

After dining in the Franz Josef Ale house the year before, where the food & service was mediocre, we were a little sceptical about dining at Speights Invercargill. Invercargill after Christmas was quiet with not much open, so decided we would give it a go. Service was Awesome as was the food. So much so we dined here 2 days... More
