Had breakfast here a couple of times during our stay in Dunedin. We found it great value for money, the coffee was the best we'd had in a long time since driving in from Te Anau the day before and the muffins were HUGE! The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Nice food, good-size helpings and reasonable value - was all good until i noticed a fly/mosquito type insect at the bottom of the salad still moving - which really put me off! Maybe need to wash the salad a bit more...

I often come here for the cakes and muffins! I reckon they have the best banoffie pie, big portion for a reasonable price. I just love the cakes here, they have such mouth-watering cheesecakes as well, my favourite is still the Strawberry and white chocolate cheesecake.

I had a peppered sausage roll and a Ginger Beer, perfect. Warmed and brought to the table, we were out in under 20 minutes from... More

I recently stopped by Black Dog in-between appointments for a spot of afternoon tea. This leading me to swing past the cafe. The service was outstanding, friendly and courteous. More importantly the foot was fresh, tasty, well presented and very affordable. Although to-date I have not had a evening meal there, the restaurant appears to be very appealing and I... More

Nice Cafe with a very warm and cosy environment. Great place to sit down with a few mates and enjoy a cold brew or hot coffee. The leather lounge pieces were as good-looking as they were comfy, it made relaxing all the more enjoyable. On top of the relaxing settings, the staff members who were very prompt with our orders...
