Wanna come back!

We had a burger and a Steak Salad, both was awesome! The Steak was perfect medium and the salad was really fresh! Yummy!

The Craic is a regular for me and I especially enjoy their soups. The French Onion soup I had this day was devine and probably my best soup dish I had had from the Craic. I congratulated the Chef and he even gave me the recipe! Not made from french onions but onions in a french style!!

We ventured off the cruise ship for brunch and found the best little place. The omelet said three eggs but looked much larger and was very tasty. Good coffee and friendly service. Overall a nice visit.

I am a 50 something that has travelled a fair bit and I can say, with my hand on my heart, that wherever I have been in the world I have never been to a dud Irish pub. This one is no exception. Great earthy food, a huge selection of beers (of course!!), extensive wine list and excellent staff which... More

We went looking for a restaurant on Waitangi Day and found most were closed. Walked by the Craic and there seemed to be lots of patrons and we were lucky enough to get the last table. Reasonable prices and a happy crowd. My wife ordered the pasta special and I had the pub pie (I always sample the pub pie... More

We are always on the lookout for a great opportunity to have seafood, especially when we are seaside. Tonight we were very pleased, we ordered the seafood platter for two, it had fried blue cod, green lip mussels, salt and pepper calamari, shrimp skewers, and scallops with the roe attached, salad and fries, OH My! All that and bread and... More

I had the braised hare for lunch and was very impressed. It was tender and juicy and completely more-ish. It also helped that the bar staff was friendly and there were very drinkable beer on tap.

Based on a good experience two years before, we revisited this year and were not disappointed. We had a scallop entree, the braised hare and the Guiness stew potpie. All where fantastic and portions left us waddling back to our hotel. Final price with a drink or two, was $92. Service was friendly and professional. The restaurant offers both indoor... More

Nice place, nice atmosphere, nice staff, great food! Fresh ingredients cooked with care, big size and good pricing. Delicious soup of the day and vegetarian pie. Very friendly staff and good music. Absolutely recommended!

If you're looking for somewhere to have breakfast/brunch this is the place to go. By far the best I've come across in Dunedin. I don't drink coffee but the people I go there with say it is awesome. The staff are always polite, nothing is a bother, and the service is very fast. Have been many times and it's always... More
