$30 for an unpleasant ceaser salad and a glass of wine. I could have eaten better at home. the chicken was bland. too much dressing. not enough salad.

I struggled with some coffee in NZ but this coffee was great!! We had fantastic breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Inside and outside tables, close to beach and lovely walk along coast

We dined early so there was not much atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was nice, although the dish I ordered had too much sauce (but that is personal preference!). It was good food but not too exciting. There is a bar attached and that was where all the action was! Big crowd, large tv, watching the cricket world cup.....Australia... More

Food and service just lovely. It was a cold windy night and the restaurant was a welcome warm haven.

There are a few to pick from, but settling in at Salt will be well worth the seaside journey. Can definitely give a thumbs up to the big breakfast, as well as conquering the dream result of a couple of cold quiets on a warm evening - Dunedin's weather permitting! Top service too

Very busy wee place, good food that is sent out quickly, great coffee and a great atmosphere, great place to have a coffee and snack and do a bit of people watching!

We were out for a special birthday meal. The food was freshly cooked and was well served by the excellent staff. The whole experience was so good that we are going back for a last meal before leaving NZ. This will be our third meal here as we had lunch last week.

Very nice dinner at Salt. We both chose fish of the day which was gunard nicely done and a decent size. Waiting staff friendly and efficient. Would not come here for a special dinner but hits the spot for a casual meal.
