Visited here for a dinner out with blokes who don't like fancy places. The food was excellent and fancy enough for any palate, there was a good range of desserts and we could have a drink from the bar or a wide selection of wines. Would go again any day.

Visited there in mid july, my husband had the breakfast with homemade baked beans. They had run out of sausages and there was a lump of plastic in his baked beans. When we pointed this out to wait staff, we got a 'sorry bout that' and was charged full price even with missing sausages. Never again

6 of us visited for a Friday lunch and each person ordered something different from the menu - we were all very happy with our meals. The restaurant was full, but service was still good - although it took a small while to get the bill and the coffees never arrived. That said, we'd still recommend it for an informal... More

Very little for us to eat. We have dairy and gluten problems and we had little choice. They did adapt the gluten free sausage dish to serve it with chips (!) but the sausages weren't that nice. My partner had the chicken risotto gluten free but it was tasteless. Thee wasn't much atmosphere as the restaurant was virtually empty and... More

We dined here on a Friday evening (14th Nov). We were greeted by two very cherry girls at a very busy time, and sat at a 2 seater table in the center of the restaurant, but we were pretty sure we had the Old Kent Road of the monopoly set on a busy night. Nonethless, had a young gentleman serve... More

we had dinner at Salt, after the sunset at St Clairs beach. We ordered a corn soup, ribeye steak, spaghetti with chicken breast and grilled salmon. All are tasty.

good coffee, service is usually really good, antipasto and salt and pepper squid is amazing, quite often really busy if you are in a rush.

We walked in without booking, we were greeted by friendly staff & seated at bar tables because restaurant was full. Drinks were quick, food was tasty - would recommend.

We stopped in here for a late lunch and were not disappointed. Our selections of fish were very tasty and nicely presented at our window table by a very friendly waitress, and we liked the old oak wall panelling and simple seating to match. Do try this delightful restaurant.

My business associates and I had a most enjoyable evening at Salt. We started off in the bar where we had friendly service in a well-presented environment which has heaps of personality. We stayed for an evening meal where we had quality service all evening. I had the Salt and Pepper Calamari which would be one of the nicer ones... More
