We had breakfast there on two consecutive mornings, lovely staff, very friendly, helpful and courteous. Food is excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Can recommend this place.

Had a light saturday lunch here about midday. The choice of food and drinks was typical for an cafe, looking deliciously presented. The food was really tasty and the service excellent. Would definitely go again

The spinach florentine was yummy, and the place has a nice relaxed vibe. Liked it enough that I went back a second time for breakfast.

Food was ok, had eggs on toast with Hashbrowns however the side of Hashbrowns was actually a Rosti with onion and cheese throughout which if I knew i wouldn't have ordered. Coffee was ok. The staff were stuck up young girls who don't know how to smile. Wouldn't go back.

Landed in Christchurch and managed to grab breakfast here; it opens really early (7am on weekdays). It's a 5-minute drive from the airport so it's perfect if you arrive in the early morning. The food and coffee is delicious and the place can accommodate big groups. Really recommend it!

We visited Christchurch in February, just over 5 years after we left to return to the UK. We had to visit Vic's - everyone does! The brunch and coffee was delicious - enough said.

I ordered the French toast which came with stewed fruit - the toast was soggy and the fruit was undercooked and sour. My husband ordered the bacon and eggs - the fried eggs were over-cooked with hard yolks and the toast was very dry.

Popular place on a Sunday but with quick service non the less; good menu met expectation. Big Breakfast hit the mark; cosy venue.

I have just been to Vic's Cafe & Bakery for bfst with the family. Found the location, food selection and service very good. Maybe not the best bfst option if you visit with young children as this is a busy place and you might don't get a table. But I believe you can reserve a table in advance so call... More
