Quirky environment, great food

Had dinner there for the first time. When we booked we were asked if we were going to the concert after, which we were, so they took a note of that which we appreciated. I had a steak which was cooked just right, and hubbybwent for a burger which looked great and tasted great as well. Had coffe and... read more

I love The Pedal Pusher, whether it's for brunch, lunch, dinner or just casual drinks and nibbles with friends. The service is always friendly and efficient, and the menu interesting and tasty. If heading to an event at the nearby arena, it pays to book as this spot becomes super busy and it's a little hard to find a table.

We went to The Pedal Pusher for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and attentive but the music being played was somewhat questionable. The menu looked great and we ordered 4 'smalls' and a side of fries to share. We had calamari, beef cheeks, risotto balls and minced pork in a lettuce leaf, plus the chips.... More

We have visited twice. The first time we ordered the risotto balls and seafood chowder. Chowder was good but the risotto balls were excellent which is why we came back a couple weeks later, again, delicious.

Absolutely love this place... Staff is awesome, really looking after their customers.. Food and drinks are served in perfect timing, you are not waiting ages for it and it is delicious... I´d come back anytime and of course would recommend to others...

We weren't wanting fine dining just a good meal at a good price & a catch up with family. The food was pleasant but nothing to rave about, lots of choice & good portions but we felt over priced. A main at $34 plus & desert starting from $14 is higher than we usually pay for fine dining in Nelson.... More

Great food and atmosphere as usual. Food service was quick and the quality high. Perfect start to the evening and preparing us for a great show at the nearby Court Theatre.

Really nice food, chips in particular were epic. We also sampled the sliders which were so tasty and I would go back again just to have them. Staff were really friendly as well. Got helpful tips on wine in New Zealand as well. Top notch.

Booked for dinner prior to Court Theatre on recommendation of workmate and very pleased to have done so! Service was fantastic, attentive without being in our face and the meals were Just Right. Would not hesitate to return.
