On our last night in Christchurch, having come from the USA to visit family (in winter!), we went to Pomeroy's for our farewell celebration. We couldn't have chosen better. Despite the fact that they would not accept a reservation, and it was a moderately busy evening, we arrived early and were able to secure seating for our 12+ family/friends with... More

They appeared to have a good size beer selection, which I was briefly excited about. Unfortunately it was the night the All Blacks were... More

We were looking for somewhere for dinner (family of 4) on Sunday evening and the manager at the Quest recommended Pomeroys. It was a 15 minute walk and wearied to find it full but the waiting staff were great and arranged 2 tables for us. Food was great and the selection of beer is fantastic. This Inn is well worth... On a Sunday night I made a reservation for extended family (oldest 86, youngest 13) to have a meal at Pomeroys.
