Great food. Good service. No beer list at the table.

Good service. Unfortunately no beer list at the table, as we were seated away from the bar instead having to ask the server..? the starter, jalapeño cheese dip served with bread. Was really satisfying in flavour and not too spicy just a little. and large enough to share as a good size starter for... read more

Not a fan of beer but many of my friends are, poms has great food and great service. Frequent often but current Pinot list is waning, haha,Rua, Catalina were superior to the dusty lake Hayes, please review selection or my winter local will have to be reviewed 😞

Situated on edge of city centre. Micro brewery on premises making excellent beer. Good pub food, recommend the pulled pork sandwich. Note it is closed on Mondays

Loved our evening at this unique pub in Christchurch. Its a little way out from the centre of the city but well worth the effort to get there (we did walk it). The atmosphere was friendly and easy-going. The service was excellent and it was easy to find a place to sit, even though it was busy. The food in... More

Though in a pub, this is not pub food. Dinner was amazing. My venison was excellent and made better by the thoughtful pairing with delicious seasonal vegetables - wonderful. The pub is lively and fun, but the food is the reason to go. A must in Christchurch

Had a quick one night stop in Christchurch and booked a room here- one word- perfect! We had the garden room- just what we needed. The breakfast in the morning was diy- but they had everything you need. But we were too full from the great meal and drinks from the night before at the pub. I would recommend this... More

Ate here on my last night in NZ and WHAT a treat! Stayed at the B and B (see separate review) and the lovely lady who had greeted me to check in (so so sorry I didn't get your name!) reserved me a table for the following night. I expected it to be good from the reviews I've read but... More

A must if you're a lover of craft beer. When we visited, the place was buzzing with an eclectic mix of local and visiting craft beer fans. We didn't eat, but the meals coming out of the kitchen looked an smelled amazingly good. We would have given five stars, but the beers were a bit on the high side price... More

Great place to go with friends and share a pizza, great outdoor area very popular would think you have to get there earlish to get a seat outside in summer. We ordered from the pizza menu a couple of good thin crust (our favourite) pizzas comfortably feed 4 adults none of us big eaters, although it was busy our pizza's... More
