Always a favourite

Love this Chch cafe! Such unique decor and also a fabulous story behind this local business. A must visit! Also has a great variety of food, my last visit I had an incredible refined sugar free slice that was so delicious I brought another to go on my way out!

took TA advice and went to this cafe on arrival in Christchuch - completely agree with another review....'good coffee, great selection of food, both cabinet style and freshly prepared hot full meals, excellent friendly service and a wonderful atmosphere'. Iced coffee ticked all the boxes, the shop was nice for a mooch of TradeAid goods, food was fortifying and delicious.

Its hard to step back a bit and fairly comment on a Café that is clearly so popular with so many regular customers, and its even harder to find fault with it. I have visited 5 times in 5 weeks. Each time on a different day and different time. Each visit characterized by the same common factors: good coffee, great... More

Very popular joint, and understandably so! We decided to go here on a Saturday around lunchtime, which was a fairly busy timeslot. Given the amount of people in the cafe, our coffee arrived relatively fast, so well impressed by this stage. A table had opened up by then, so we decided to requeue and order some food. After a self-caused... More

We went here because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and it was really worth it! This is a great place with a good vibe. Also like the business philosophy. Good spot to chill and relax. They have healthy and fairtraide food & drinks. The coffee was absolutely excellent and the salad and omelette were delicious too. Staff was really busy... More

Having escaped jail (the excellent hostel down the road). We headed for coffee and whoops cake was ordered too. Both were excellent the coffee we thought had a slightly caramel taste, which we enjoyed. The cake was gf and really tasty and the carrot cake muffin very nice. Would have gone again but day release was up. Extradited back to... More

Cool atmosphere, good coffee and great food tops off what is also a very cool concept (co-op where all profits go back into the producers of the coffee / reinvestment into the business).
