This place is very popular, and finding a table may be difficult at busy times. We arrived for a late lunch and the place was buzzing, but we managed to score a recently vacated table after ordering coffee and meals at the counter. Coffee arrived quickly and was very good. Great strength and milk foamed just as I like it.... More

This quirky coffee shop has an extensive & interesting menu for breakfast & lunch. The décor is relaxed with a variety of spots to sit. I found it the sort of place I could be on my own and feel at ease. However I ended up meeting people each time that still leaves me smiling. The food was delicious.

Best cafe in the world whether you are a local or not - you will want to be. It's basically run as a charity with most of the profits going to developing countries. You can actually feel this in the atmosphere, as there is no pressure to leave and plenty of books, games and seating arrangements to allow you to... More

Great coffee. I'm a coffee addict and I had to have 2 cups. It is definitely one of the best cappuccinos I have ever had. Food is great and so is ambiance. Cereal with Milk or usual eggs Benedict are all good. Unique idea of using a flag instead of table number, in built shop, spacious high ceiling cafe. Combine... More

Came here alone. Great atmosphere but the food and beverage is average at best. Eggs Benedict with salmon should really be served with hot smoked chunky salmon not cold smoked thinly sliced straight from Pak' N Save, my guess is the spinach was previously frozen and the bread was way too thickly sliced. But all in all not bad. Why... More

This place is one of the haven's for those wanting a cafe experience in Christchurch, and it is reliable for coffee and food that is way above average. But for me, it just feels wrong. Like C1 in town, it is just trying a bit without any real aroha, or spirit of love in the food and the place itself

This place never fails to deliver. Great coffee and an awesome atmosphere makes it the ideal place for a meeting, a family breakfast, or even a sneaky wee lunch with my wife. If you haven't been you just need to get down to the awesome Addington Coffee Coop. Still love the flags!

This place had a great atmosphere and lovely food. Really enjoyed the French Toast - a little bit different to the norm, made of brioche, with bacon and marscapone

I love stopping in at Addington Coffee Co-op, friendly and fast staff, great vibe in the Café, nice outdoor area. Can be really busy at times. Try their date scones warm with butter, such a treat. No standard order numbers, but flags, so try to figure out where your flag is from, good fun!
