Nice but not wowed

Had a pleasant evening but didn't get any wow factors during the night. This disappointed me because it is rated so high on trip advisor. I will return at some point to compare as I believe in second chances.

Had French multiple times around the world (although admittedly not in France haha), and never had anything remotely as delicious as this! I ordered the main duck a l'orange and dessert creme brulee - both which were insanely amazing. Really wish i'd had the entree too! will definitely return for the 5 course set menu. My friends also had the... More

Returning to this restaurant a year since our last visit, we are still well impressed with service, food and wine. A fantastic dining experience yet again. The nicest finishing touch of a complimentary St Germain liqueur.

We had wanted to dine here for a while now so decided to make it a (pre) mother's day dinner event - wow. Fantastic food from the starters through to dessert, plus friendly, attentive front of house staff. We will definitely be back - 5 or 8 course degustation next time I think!

It was my birthday treat, and could not have been better. We have been several times before, over the years, and always had the same feeling: understated, superb food, service that is pitched just right, lovely quiet ambience, focusing on the food and wine. No gimmicks, just what they do. We had a quiet table by the window which suited... More

We decided to try St Germaine as they were offering a three course set menu with welcome glass of rose for the very reasonable price of $50 per person. Even though it was a Tuesday night the restaurant was very busy (obviously many others were also taking up the offer). After looking at the menu I was tempted to throw... More

It took us 20 minutes to find this place, as the sign is small and not visible from distance. Many near by motels couldn't tell us where to find it. Fortunately we remember the number of the address, and found it at the front of the Heartland hotel. It's a fine dining, big enough to feel like in France. We... More

Bland, uninspired, over-pretentious food! The orange duck portion ungenerous and very tough, filet steak full of sinew, with a beetroot puree almost inedible. I would not call this a fine dinning restaurant. I feel the price can not be justified by the food or service. I personally would not recommend this restaurant and would never return again.

Well this is the closest you are going get to a true french restaurant anywhere in the world including France. From the moment you enter and are greeted by the staff with a Bon Soir you know this is going to be good, the reviewers told you so. The food was excellent very well executed and presented the wines first... More
