Delicious!

Have been a couple of times and the food has always been top notch. Friends went recently and had the degustation menu with wine match and they couldn't rave enough about it. I'm going again with a large group at the beginning of August and really looking forward to it.

My friend and I dined here for a special celebration and we were both really impressed. The restaurant is quite small but with plenty of space between the tables, nice simple ambiance, and appropriate music. The bread was amazing, a light baguette, very tasty. For starters I had scallops with a crayfish bisque, served over a delicate and delicious citrusy... More

We spent our last night in New Zealand at this restaurant, and we're not disappointed! Amazing food cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The setting of the restaurant is not what you would expect being in a Tutor style building, but the restaurant makes the most of this and you forget the outside as soon as you walk inside. We... We came here to enjoy a lovely French meal, and try and talk a little French. We have been here twice before, but it was about 3 years ago. We are returning to France again this year, and have been learning French so were keen to try and talk the language, along with enjoy a beautiful French authentic meal. I... More

The pleasant, but a bit shopworn, space, was staffed by an attentive staff on the quiet weeknight evening my friend and I dined. The starters were a bit disappointing as the onion soup was a bit thin and the escargots in a blue cheese preparation will not replace the garlic and butter as my favorite. My friend had the veal... Had a pleasant evening but didn't get any wow factors during the night. This disappointed me because it is rated so high on trip advisor. I will return at some point to compare as I believe in second chances.

Had French multiple times around the world (although admittedly not in France haha), and never had anything remotely as delicious as this! I ordered the main duck a l'orange and dessert creme brulee - both which were insanely amazing. Really wish i'd had the entree too! will definitely return for the 5 course set menu. My friends also had the... More

Returning to this restaurant a year since our last visit, we are still well impressed with service, food and wine. A fantastic dining experience yet again. The nicest finishing touch of a complimentary St Germain liqueur.

We had wanted to dine here for a while now so decided to make it a (pre) mother's day dinner event - wow. Fantastic food from the starters through to dessert, plus friendly, attentive front of house staff. We will definitely be back - 5 or 8 course degustation next time I think!

It was my birthday treat, and could not have been better. We have been several times before, over the years, and always had the same feeling: understated, superb food, service that is pitched just right, lovely quiet ambience, focusing on the food and wine. No gimmicks, just what they do. We had a quiet table by the window which suited... More
