Friendly service, good food, what moor could you ask for. A desert menu like this? Yes. A choice of about 20 deserts, all excellent. But only one fitted in, pitty. There were some really great creations comming from the kitchen. The restuant is on two levels. Most people prefer the upstairs area. We were downstairs and it was nice a... More

Mains quite tasty but my partner had duck for $35 and it was really tiny. Desserts looked amazing though. They did offer him a complementary baguette.

Located upstairs next to a motel complex. Décor a little dull, could have done with some interesting artwork/colours? But lots of greenery through the windows upstairs which was nice. Fast efficient service - almost too quick actually!

Fantastic desserts and certainly could not complain about the size. Delicious food great service but unfortunately agree not enough car parking. But would most definitely visit again.

Everything on the dessert menu looks so delicious, so hard to choose - but once you have decided you won't be disappointed! Beyond delicious.

It was a lovely dessert but lacked space. Car parking and accessing the building is very lacking. I ended up have to park about a 5 minute walk away down a side street. Probably will not go again.

Food is divine. I have had the duck and fish before, and both are amazing. Beautiful flavours and dishes to truly savour. However, on the pricey side and won't fill you up, but you need the space for dessert because that's what people come for. I can say that I've ordered the Ultimate Chocolate Dessert, Warm Raspberry Drenched, Iced Chocolate... More

Strawberry fare is one of Chchs iconic restaurants that has managed to relocate after the earthquake. Their new building is a 2story looking out to hagley park. They do have stairs (no lift), which would be hard for the elderly and makes it impossible for wheelchairs but they also have downstairs dining which is a lot more quiet and private.... More
