With an Argosy Aircraft parked out the front of the restaurant we were keen to explore further. The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. For a gold coin donation our 11 year old son got to explore and play in the Argosy out the front. The waitress even went to fetch him when his dinner had been served and... More

There have been a number of occasions that I have dined in this restaurant and I feel value for money they would be hard to beat. The meals are not only delicious but generous. Great staff and great service

Stopped for a coffee and a muffin, was not disappointed! Great coffee! More of a restaurant than cafe so no cabinet food but they did have some tasty savory muffins. Also an awesome plane for kids to go in and have a look around.

A quality dining experience with good food and generous servings. Family friendly with a range of seating options available. Added bonus is the 'museum' display of the Argosy aircraft on site, which can be viewed for a gold coin donation and is a well preserved example of transport in a by-gone era. Great for either a quick lunch or snack... More

Went for dinner and decided we would order desert after the main meal. Huge fresh meals with great flavour and excellent friendly Kiwi service. No room for desert but we were so impressed we went back for what turned out to be an awesome breakfast. The servings are HUGE, the value is GREAT, and the staff and wonderful genuine people.... While this is definitely not a fine dining restaurant the food is good and there is heaps of it. The menu is really extensive and if you couldn't find something you liked then you would be very hard to please. The meals are good value and good beverage list. Great meals for a hungry kiwi bloke. The plane is very... More

The service was slow although they do a good goat curry when available. Not bad value for money though

Party of Three for dinner. The restaurant was quite cold. We were seated by a window which made it even worse. The service was pleasant. The food was what we could of had at home. a good homestyle meal, lacked any real presentation and flair. Helpings were reasonable. My main problem was no provisions made for the gluten free diner.... More

A spur of the moment stop on our way to Blenheim. The Seafood chowder was our choice, and it would be one of the best Chowders I have ever had. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back..

Husband and son waxed lyrical about the Argosy which did not look to be a tourist attraction. Better signage needed. They could've spent far longer but tummy's were rumbling. The food was what you would expect in an American diner, big enough portions but very basic. The salad was what we would've had 15 years ago, iceberg lettuce, cucumber and... More
