View has the wow factor

Modern cellar door on a hill with views over the vineyards. Warm welcome from busy staff who were very accomodating. Lovely wines and enjoyed trying some different varieties.

The wine was good, not great but good, the food was well done, not fast, but really nicely delivered, and I didn't mind the wait because the view is phenomenal, the staff is super kind and nice to chat with, overall a great experience.

Sorry to say didn't care for the wine tastings. Very slick presentation and film though. Think this is a winery that is a bit big and commercial for us.

Beautiful views from the restaurant complement the excellent food that is provided. Good, attentive, but not intrusive wait staff.

After visiting for a coffee and enjoying the view I booked a table for my daughter and friends in the new year. Because they were busy they suggested 1.30 as there were 9 of us and most of the diners would be finished by then. However, there were only a couple of staff waiting on and it took forever to... When you are only in the area for a short while, deciding which winery to choose for your lunch is a difficult one, but we looked at other diners' reports, and accordingly decided to visit Brancotts, probably the best reviewed of them all. We were not disappointed. The moment we stepped into the car park, along came a delightful man... More

If you are going around Marlborough Wine Region you have to stop off here at one of the first wineries in the region. The sight alone is worth the journey to the top. Must see while out tasting wines. Read more about our experience here: http://www.peanutsorpretzels.com/experience-new-zealand-wine-private-wine-tour-marlborough-new-zealand/

We were awed by the views as we drove up to Brancott, and after sampling some wine, we decided we needed something to eat. The menu was limited, but all we needed was a light lunch, and the caprese salad hit the spot. It was enough for two of us and came with prosciutto as well - a nice surprise.... More

The tasting was good, the platter very good and the views were amazing. The choice of full meals or much lighter bites with matched wine was attractive. The staff were pleasant and attentive but the tasting perhaps lacked a bit of the personal touch of many of the other cellar door tastings we had. There's a very short video history... More
