We went to Brancott Estate with friends last weekend for Mother's Day lunch and once again we were very impressed with the wine and the food. It is not cheap as the mains are $26.00 to $30.00, but the food is excellent, the views magnificent and the staff efficient and friendly. We walked up the hill but there is a... More

We were advised to visit by some friends mainly for the views. We were very surprised at the range of wines they produced as we only knew them for less expensive selections in the U.S. and Canada. Watch the firm about the development of the property. We arrived as they opened early one morning and did not experience the restaurant.

Dear GerryB Thanks for taking the time to review. We do offer a range of limited release wines that are exclusive to the cellar door - wines that showcase new expressions of our wine style or varietals (such as Sauvignon Gris). More

Brancott estate Winery was fabulous! The cellar door staff were more than helpful, being in the industry they allowed us to taste what we wanted and there was no charge! Had one of the most amazing Sauvignon Blancs every. On the nose, fruit, smokey fried onions (I know strange) and hints of tropical fruit. On the palate was terrific acidity,... More

Dear wineman1981 Thanks for your feedback. The wine you tasted is the Brancott Estate Chosen Rows Marlbrorugh Sauvignon Blanc 2010 - a very special wine made from hand-harvested grapes selected from our best vine rows to make an age-worthy Sauvignon Blanc. Pleased you enjoyed it. More

What a stunning location for breakfast in Blenheim. The food was excellent. This modern restaurant had everything going for it. Friendly staff, great menu and that stunning view - perfect. We watched a short film on the history of Brancott which we all found interesting and sampled wine. What a way to start a day.

Introduction to wines interesting and helpful. Looking out over vines brought it into real perspective. Food superb, service great, wine lovely.

Thanks for your feedback and we are pleased you enjoyed your experiences. The impact of the bold decision to be the first to plant Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough is clearly illustrated when you see the extent of vines covering the valley today. More

Brancott Estate has amazing views, with great wine & food, but unfortunately on this occasion the restaurant was let down by poor acoustics, and a waitress who simply didn't care. We were placed right next to some very noisy children (similar to those who'll kick the back of your seat on an airline) yet there were 5 vacant tables to... More

Dear JamesOrphan Thanks for taking the time to give feedback of your recent experience and pleased you enjoyed the food, wine and views. I'm sorry that the team were not able to accommodate your request to move tables and this resulted in a poorer experience for your party due to the noise. More

The views from this winery are gorgeous. My daughter and I stopped in later afternoon and had such a nice, friendly and knowledgeable woman do a tasting for us. The staff was so nice, in fact, they even let us linger after the winery closed (they were cleaning up), to sip a glass of wine and enjoy the view. Lovely... More

The visit to Brancott is worth it for the view alone. Perched on top of a hill overlooking the vineyards it creates an ideal environment to enjoy the wine and if you fancy it, some delicious food too! The outdoor terrace on a sunny day is somewhere I could sit all day and enjoy the ambiance created by this popular... More

We arrived 30 minutes late for a pre booked tasting as the GPS sent us to the old estate! When we arrived they were more than accommodating and we were still able to do the Mastery of Marlborough tasting ( a bargain at $18 each) we watched a short video and then entered the private room. Julie our guide was... More
