This restaurant no longer exists. When it was thriving it was easily the best cafe experience in Central Blenheim. For that same experience visit Deitmar at Drylands or Hunters.

was really dissapoited with this place. Although the service was relatively good, it was expensive and the food quality was very average. We are pescetarian; the mushroom dish was tiny and even the fish dish was tasteless!! I wouldnt recommend this place, and its sad because I live in Marlborough

We waited for beers, waited for wine. The garlic bread starter was a joke and the fish of the day very poor

Bellafico is supposed to be a restaurant and wine bar. The waiter still didn't know anything about wine since she said to be under the legal drinking age. Strange for a "wine bar" in the Marlborough wine region. The menu was interesting, and the food seemed to be a bit upscale, despite the plastic menu. By far no value meal,... More

I was looking for a restaurant that would have a good selection of local wines after a day of wine tasting in the Marlborough. Bellafico's ad stated that they had an award winning wine list. Since most of the restaurants in Blenheim do not allow BYO (which I find very annoying in a wine region), I decided to try the... More

We had great expectations of this place--it looked quite cool and the menu looked good. Sadly it failed to deliver on all counts. Altho there were 3 waiting staff only the female amongst them knew what she was doing. Food went back to the kitchen twice from one couple close to us and the coffees served to the next table... We used to live at Anakiwa and enjoyed wonderful meals we had at Bellafico. Two years ago we shifted to Nelson, but had reason to return to Blenheim yesterday and decided to have coffee and a muffin at Bellafico. It was extremely disappointing - the muffins were over heated and were rubbery and tasteless. The mocha had no froth, was... More

Very good wine selection, but the food was very poor. I had prawns to start which arrived on a potato cake. Why ? Main course Lamb - arrived on a potato cake. The lamb was tough and I sent it back a disgrace to New Zealand. I chose the beef instead which was well cooked but had an inedible sauce.... More

Not a bad little restaurant, the food is good, their famous Lemon Meringue Pie is a must try!..service ok, too bad about the seating though, they could do with some decent, more comfortable seats. Worth a try.

The team at Bellafico couldn't have been more helpful. We were a group of 12 and one of us was celebrating a birthday so they'd gone to considerable trouble to arrange flowers and a cake and happily packed it up for us to take away later. The menu was just the right size and had several of us struggling to... More
