Good quality food, portions very acceptable. Good wine list. Sensible pricing. Pleasant outlook onto Seymour Square.
The service at this restaurant was great and food was delicious. The interior has been recently refurbished and looks nice, but there are a few things that let it down. Mirrored pillars at one end of the restaurant are a distraction when holding conversation, and the entrance to the restaurant is not at all attractive.
We stayed at the hotel and went for dinner on the first night, simply because there was little options. Food was good but over priced like most hotel restaurants.
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to write the review. Since your last visit, we have lowered the prices and have only positive feedback on our meals, as we got a new head chef on board. Thanks, Honza, Mondrians restaurant manager More
I ate here two nights in a row when staying for business. Good service from the friendly team, but the good is pretty average and the prices are not in line with the quality. It is certainly an attempt at fine dining, my view is that this attempt is somewhat of a fail. The place would be better served by... More
The big breakfast was perfection. The scrambled egg is rated the best I've had. The yoghurt glasses are massive, as they have a porridge with sultanas at the bottom of the glass, yoghurt on top. The fresh fruit shots are cool, never had elsewhere!
Let me first comment on service. The waitress was very professional and as we were one of only two couples in the restaurant we received excellent service. Food: We had seafood chowder to start with and it was very, very tasty. Mains: (all in the region of $40) I had veal (not as tender as I would have wanted it)... More
Delicious Food although not up to the price standard. Service was wonderful, food delicious - just unfortunately overpriced! Mains were all around $40, I am guessing that was why there were only 3 tables seated on a Saturday night. If they lowered their prices they would be full, as the food was delicious!
After hearing the great add on the radio and as it is now refurbished we thought we would give it a try. After three entres and three mains we realized the only thing high class was the descriptions and the prices. The veal went back as very tuff and over cooked the first time. They did do it again but... More
We had a 3 course menu from the Mondrian's new restaurant..which was amazing, just remembered my French gastronomic experience in Paris Micheline star dining experience. Simply amazing, the veal and duck was so delicious with natural fresh truffles flavour and all my friends were amazed with lovely finishing dessert taste plate..Will visit for any time...Thanks to the Chef
We had a great meal here after a long day's travel, and like the hotel itself, the restaurant far exceded our expectations (which were more at the "Dennys" level). I'm embarassed to say I didn't expect this much from a hotel chain in a small town, but am now a convert. Our waitress (Susannah) was unruffled by our request to... More
