Very friendly staff. Free and informative wine tasting. Must try the Pinot Gris! Some of their wines are exported to Australia and sold in Dan Murphy stores. (The staff are honest and inform you of this to save you expensive courier fees) :-)

Went as part of a wine tour so didn't get to pick Wither Hills as a location for lunch. It was nice and priced as expected. I asked for the pasta without mushrooms however was informed that it was already made as a large batch which was disappointing, wonder how long it had been sitting out the back. Service was... More

Absolutely loved our lunch at Wither Hills. Enjoyed the wine tasting and months later am still thinking about their cheese and cured meat platter!

Mid winter, beautiful Marlborough day and Wither Hills restaurant. A very potent combination! We were welcomed by a very friendly maitre'd, shown to a lovely table with glorious views and guided through the menu. Everyone chose something different but all arrived at the same time and was extremely tasty. Beatifully clean restrooms and plenty of parking. The only downside were... More

We happened upon Wither Hills only days after Prince William and Dutchess Kate had secretly visited the vineyard. Even as Americans, we were pretty impressed by that :) The wine was delicious and the food amazing. We had a sampling of several things and were very impressed. You can sit at patio tables or in the grass courtyard on beanbag... More

Welcomed by friendly staff and seated outside. Lovely setting and nice atmosphere. Disapointed with menu as it was aimed at tourists and there was nothing for a regular inexpensive lunch. Ended up with bread and dips. Vineyards need to realise that when the tourists aren't around in the winter the locals are still here should be catered for. The lovely... More

We couldn't fault anything with our visit. We we're welcome when arrived, asked if we could sit outside and shown to out table, friendly chit chat about the weather and where we were from. We had a starter, main and desert, the lovely lady also helped with choosing a wine. Then off to tasting, well the only thing I can... More

This was our first wine tasting in Marlborough! The lovely manager and assistant introduced us to their wines and made us feel extremely welcome despite our sparse knowledge and experience in wine tasting. We ended up with two bottles for home even though we hadn't planned to get any. (That's good service for you!) wonderful building too. Would love to... More

It is a holiday weekend, most places are closed so Wither Hills was very busy. We would not normally have gone there with small children but we were still made welcome, we were served quickly and the food was delicious. They have an excellent children's menu and the adult food is fabulous. The crowning glory had to be the children's... More

Nice clean restaurant with outstanding views, Had the day been warmer would have had lunch outside. Locals seem to know the place. Pork Belly for my wife and vegetable tart for me. Both wonderfully prepared, cooked and served. Also the Wither Hills wines!! Wish I was a local.
