Lovely Lunchtime setting

Being a winery able to taste their wines then buy the preferred wine. We both had salads, my wife the happy chicken which she claims the best salad during our tour of the South Island, I had the smaked salmon, also most enjoyable

Great wine and great food. I had lunch there and it was not only really well-plated, the flavours were amazing. I sat outside and the weather was amazing and it was just one of those picture perfect lunches. Excellent food and wine as you looked out over the vines and the hills. I'll be back!

We were on a tour of wineries and stopped at Wairau River for lunch as part of the tour. The food was delicious and the waitresses attentive and interested. I would certainly recommend it

On our annual visit to Blenheim we unquestionably visit Wairau River Winery to partake in sampling their current range of wines on offer and to have lunch. Recommend you get there earlier than the time that you want to eat and partake in some wine tastings. Rhonda has a highly skilled knowledge of Wairau wines and can describe flavours accurately.... It seems a lot of the menus around town are quite similar, but the fish was done very well. I did like a dryer reisling they had more than any other I've tried from the region, and the outdoor seating was nice. I also ordered a beer after my tasting, very good, good service.

My partner and friend and I had lunch here here a few days ago and it was phenomenal! The menu isn't big and it is a bit pricey but the food is exceptional! We each ordered something different so we got to taste about half the menu. Order your food and then go for a wine tasting while you wait.... More

Stopped here en route from Kaikoura to Nelson. Very scenic, excellent friendly service, food pretty good, and large grassed area for little ones to run around. A lovely sunny couple of hours to break up a car ride.

a delightful place to spend the lunch hour. Food is very good, although the menu doesn't seem to change.( we went several times). They should have a daily special-something we always tend to order cause the chef is paying attention to it that day! Decent prices for both wine and food. Nice staff.
