Lovely ambience with roaring log fires on a cold wet winter's day in a rustic stone and wooden beamed building, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectation. My mussel chowder was salty, the salmon wasn't as good as one of our home cooked versions and the pork and ginger burger ok. The best thing was the bread with... More

The venue is beautiful. Lovely open fire, comfortable seating and restaurant inside. We were lucky to be there on a very sunny day in winter and so got to take advantage of the seating outside. Beautiful views through the vineyards to the mountain in the background. Food was wonderfully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The blue cheese... More

We had a family lunch here on a cool but sunny Marlborough day. The restaurant is in a recently built traditional mud block building with a surrounding veranda on the corner of Rapuara Road and State Highway 6 (Blenheim to Nelson). The food and wine were excellent and the kids enjoyed the children's platters that include a mix of fruit,... More

The room was warmed by an open fire. Staff were friendly and helpful with menu choices. New on the menu was a beef cheek, pumpkin and coconut pie. The pie was served in a ramekin, piping hot. The top was pastry. The contents were tasty and tender. A side salad accompanied the pie. Menu was GF friendly. Other meals served... More

Always enjoy a meal here. Food is well presented and the menu is small and easy to choose from. Outdoor dinning is perfect in the summer time or enjoy the lovely ambient culture of the winery inside. Wine tasting is free and will always find something to match your meal. Wine is superb.

We had lunch here a few days ago. It was fantastic to eat outside in the great garden with nice view. We can recommend this place for lunch. Order the fish chowder. It is great. The food was a bit greasy but nice. I would recommend them to also put some healthy choices on the menu. Other than that, do... More

Had lunch here with a large group. Restaurant was very busy, but that didn't seem to hold up the kitchen. The food was very tasty and full of flavour. We had very nice wines to match. Simply delicious.
