We went for dinner in a weekday for special occasion. The food was excellent made with fresh quality ingredients. This is reflected in the taste of the dish. We had the fish and the lamb in mains and both were excellent. To top it all the dessert platter was delicious. Though a bit pricey it was all worth it. Would... More

Happened by and dropped in for a meal. Tapas were amazing and the woodfired Chicken pizza was superb. I would heartily recommend.

While probably not rated #1 by food critics this is my overall favourite in Wellington. Brilliant food, a good wine list and and great service this restaurant hits the spot for me. Value here is great as far as I'm concerned. We come back again and again even if just for a quick eat and few drinks downstairs or for... More

We had an evening booked at Zibibbo for our NYE dinner, I am sure glad we decided on this restaurant. From the friendly greeting on arrival to our last drink the staff were fantastic. Everything on the set menu was 5 star, each dish just got better and better as they arrived. The Dessert and cheese platter was the evening... More

Visited with family including children aged 4, 10 and 12. The food was absolutely delicious (we had beef, lamb, duck and pork belly between us). Service was also excellent, staff were knowledgeable about the menu and very accommodating of my four year old niece.

Had a meal there for a business meeting for 6. Well staffed, good choice of food, good wine list. Food was all very good including the whitebait fritters for starters. Service was attentive. Pricing is acceptable for the City. Not sure what it was or what dish, but 3 of the party were not well later in the night. We... More

When we arrived for our lunch we weren't told at the time of booking that it was a 2/3 course set menu for lunch. We waited for 30min before were were served drinks and another 20 before the came back to take our lunch order. A couple of meals were very disappointing like the salmon entree, then when it was... Hi Jodie Your review is missing a few facts, and as such is inaccurate and more than a little unfair. The Tall Poppy table was booked at 12pm for 10 people. Only one person arrived at midday, the rest of the party arrived at various times over the next half hour, and three people didn't show up at all. Drinks... More

If I were a first visitor to this gorgeous capital city it would be here for dinner! from the fact that the menu was divinely simple to the fact that all tables have an amazing outlook onto Cuba Street - which is the pulse of this amazing city. We were VERY lucky to get a table on a Friday at... More
