Its been quite a while since we ate in Tulsi, Cuba Street. Its damn hard to get a park on a Thursday night in Wellington but the time spent was well worth it. As a group we had a variety of curries but Mailyn and I had the Balti dish. Succulent lamb and chicken cooked the Balti way with lots... More

We loved it so much we visited twice on a 5 day trip! Food and service are absolutely impeccable, and surprisingly good value. The onion bhaji is simply perfect. We'll be back next time we visit Wellington

1. For some reason they had the Tv on the with the volume up quite loud. Who needs the tv on? 2. We went with a voucher - $35 for two mains, two naans and two drinks. When we went to pay the guy said our total was $60, so we had $25 still to pay.... No that's not how... More

Last night experience was completely average and quite disappointing. Yes we were early diners, yes it was quite empty, but that shouldn't stop the staff being as inattentive as they were last time we came, when they were more busy. The food quality was as good as before but the food quantity !!! a meal for two was more like... More

My husband and I had lunch here on our last day in Wellington. We had a grab1 voucher for $20 of food. Most lunch mains are under $10 so we decided to upgrade our naan bread as all lunch mains come with rice and plain naan. We thought this would be the best way to spend our voucher as we... More

When we arrived, the restaurant was about a quarter full. We waited 45 mins after ordering for our starter, poppadums, which I eventually asked a passing waiter for. In the meantime, several tables who had come in after us had their main courses. When the starter turned up, they were inedibly burnt, and we sent them back and just asked... More
