I ordered the 'award winning' butter chicken takeaway special. Which admittedly was very cheap, but it also tasted like a tin of Heinz cream of tomato soup and ketchup mixed with a pinch of chilli powder and half a bag of sugar. Both me and my boyfriend felt sick after a couple of mouthfuls, needless to say i will not... More

Good food and excellent service - admittedly on a slow Sunday night. We asked for medium rather than hot, always a safer option with an Indian restaurant, but would have described it as mild rather than medium. BYO, and that was a good choice as their wines were mid rather than low priced.

Having had take out several times and absolutely loving their butter chicken, we decided to eat out and take some friends. Unfortunately the menu is priced higher than the take out deals and you seem to get less food? Will always go back for take out but won't be dining in. Service was good and it was not a bad... More

I visited this place during one of my business trips and went there on the recommendation of a very close associate who is a fan of this joint. I found the staff very concerned about me as I was carrying my luggage with me [ I was on my way to the airport]. Extremely warm and friendly guys. The food... More

I work in the hospitality industry and the customer service from the team is dismal. The employees not only don't care about rectifying their mistakes but go out of their way to challenge you as well. Naan bread is fantastic but the curries are average.

Not sure why the reviews before mine are so poor as my experience was very good. The food was delicious, plentiful, and served promptly. I'm afraid I'll never award a kiwi Indian 5 stars when they keep insisting whether you want your meal "mild, medium or hot" (you could have a mild vindaloo for heavens sake) and this restaurant was... I object to being served reheated chicken when I pay full price for my meal. (This was about 7pm on a Thursday night). Will never go there again as this is the second time I have been served below standard food at this establishment. Never again. There are many amazing Indian restaurants to go to in the Petone Lower Hutt... More
