We were here one rainy Wellington midweek evening. It was packed to the brim with one tiny table by the window to squeeze into. Looking around all the meals being delivered looked excellent, but on checking the menu and seeing masala dosa, that was it - it is one of my all time favourites, and this did not let me... More

On a Wednesday evening I went past Tulsi and Little India which were both almost empty and arrived at Rasa, which was completely full except for one small table by the door. I was pleased to get that table, as I had no booking and some restaurants will turn away solo dners if they're busy, hoping to get higher-margin couples.... More

Love Rasa, come here time and time again. Favourite is the dosai (amazing!) but it's all yummy. Cheap and cheerful.

My favourite place to eat whilst we were in Wgtn. Great vibe, beautiful food, friendly staff. Very busy even on a Tuesday night. We were lucky to get a table. Highly recommend.

The food were exotic, tasty and plentiful (maybe a little too much). The Nasigoreng and Biriyani is just massive, which is quite hard to finish unless you are a big eater. The services are very nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is beatifully decorated, which keeped us entertained while waiting for food. Questionable place for toilet... Busy restaurant serving excellent Malaysian and South Indian food. Booking not essential but it is very popular in a street that has lots of different eating outlets. Not overly expensive and the food had lots of taste. BYON bottle as a bonus.

Went to Rasa for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. In fact, we were so early that they were still closed. But they happily opened the door 5 minutes early. We had wok prawns and wok squid as starters. Both were delicious and the portion size exceeded our expectations. I had the beef rendang with a roti as a... More

We were lucky to get a table. This little restaurant was constantly full, and frequently there were people were standing outside, awaiting a table. I now know why. The service was quick and slick. While the menu was not vast, the choice of dishes was good. When the food came it was piping hot, very tasty and the portions were... More

In a section of the capital choc-a-block with restaurants of every description, this spot stands out. Diners crowd shoulder to shoulder to enjoy complex curries and elegantly presented Malaysian specialties. I've had curried goat in the Caribbean, but the version here was the best -- as tender as good lamb and full of flavor. It paired nicely with a New... More
