Nice dinner

Not so easy to find on Cuba Street, and the dark alley leading into the restaurant is totally uninviting. The fish (fresh snapper) was great, the octopus starter just plain good. Good wine list, and a very, very relaxed service

Food and service was reasonable compared to many other similar restaurants in Wellington. However it is many years since we have had to endure cigarette smoke in a restaurant. When I complained I was told it was from the "outside bar" and they could move me to a table in the distant dark corner. We declined as this suggested we... More

We called in here after dining out at Scopa, also in Cuba Street, this is an outstanding bar with a very impressive cocktail list and a great selection of single malt whiskeys. There were plenty of diners looking happy, but we did not sample the food, we had excellent professional bar service and enjoyed the atmosphere here, it is quite... More

We booked for four as we had tried to get in once before without a booking and were unable. So pleased we did. Our male server was exceptional and was able to answer any questions we had. The food was amazing! We ordered the lamb and rump and they were both fantastic. We shared desert but wished we had got... More

Amazing food, had venison and snapper. Great drinks list along with good value for money. Service was very pleasant and not invasive. Would definitely recommend

Our taxi driver taking us to Cuba St recommended this establishment. Lucky he did as we would have walked past. A dodgy looking sign and a door down a dark passage. Cool inside, we had no reservation but were immediately found a table for two (it was a Monday night but fairly busy inside). Food was out of this world.... More

Great food, beautifully presented and the friendly helpful staff made for an enjoyable evening. Points deducted for the toilets, they are really in need of refurbishment.

Classy, absolutely delicious food, really friendly local staff. A little bit hidden which added to the atmosphere. Overall an awesome night would highly recommend :)

Great venue, really funky. The food was good although a little expensive. The main reason I haven't given it a 5 is due to portion size. We had starters, mains and dessert and I left not quite hungry but definitely not full. I had the gnocchi and only had 4 or 5 pieces with some vegetables. It was very tasty... More

We love the ambiance here, always have great service, I am really looking forward to the new restaurant menu as the last time we were here it was the shared menu thing that was going on , and we swore we would never go back after that...but it's back to being the normal a la carte menu and with its...
