Upmarket but not stuck up

Full service or you can walk up and grab a coffee at the bar. Great selection of sweet treats, some unique to Floridita's. The list of patrons here is a who's who of national and international celebs and wealthy but it is not at all pretentious. I come here a lot and I'm nobody. And I'm made... read more

I always enjoy meeting friends for coffee at Floriditas. The coffee is consistently good and I really like it that the staff keep our water glasses topped up no matter how long we stay. I have only eaten lunch here once though as I found it a little underwhelming and quite expensive. I had a couple of slices of haloumi... More

Just popped in late for sweets and dessert wine. The wine list is excellent the desserts and matched wines are world class with several aged French Sauternes and dessert sherry or just an Aussie noble one. Not priced for the faint hearted by classy. If you wanted to impress the lady for a night or a few friends those eating... More

Went for brunch on Sunday, and they do what they say Eggs, and the eggs were great creamy soft and deep deep yellow. Washed down by good coffee. No queue good service the champagne looked good but could not face it after the night before . The eggs and bacon aided much needed recovery

I'd been to their sister restaurant, Loretta, a couple of times and really enjoyed the food and service, so was hoping for a great experience at Floridita's for a birthday/Mother's Day brunch. I understand that a busy day like Mother's Day might add addtional pressure to the staff, but what the six of us had was really under par and... More

FLORIDITAS is always busy. We visited every day for breakfast during our Wellington stay. The coffee is great, they have the paper, the service is quick and the waiters are super friendly. The portions are well served and the food is very good. Why go somewhere else? The granola plate is delicious, any egg dish is too. As it is... More

Came here with a friend after finding out Loretta is now closed on Mondays. Both of us opted for an entree for a main. We started with the chicken croquettes. Loved these. Perfectly deep fried. I had the halloumi with flatbread. I loved this and it was exactly what I felt like. The salad was lovely and lemony which goes... More

We haven't had food this good for several years. It was good modern Italian restaurant serving well prepared, well thought out meals with a decent wine list to back it up. Great work guys!

Went here for brunch for a girly catch up. Flat whites were beautifully flat, I had poached eggs with avocado & rocket with hollandaise which was just beautiful. Very filling portion but not to the point where I was uncomfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly as well. As we left the coffee bar was filling with gorgeous baked goods, so... More
