I go there for the Hash,it's that good...

I mainly go to Elements for lunch and nearly always order the bacon and cabbage hash,it's perfect with great balance of flavour and a perfectly poached free range egg perched on the top. The menu has plenty of variety and the coffee is good too. Recommended.

Great food. Four of us went for brunch. 2 got the goat cheese souffle, 1 got the mushroom hash and I got the lambs fry. All meals were done superbly and the prices were perfectly reasonable. Coffee and service was good as well.

I have been here several times for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and one business function. I have never been disappointed. They are consistently good with food and service. One of my favourite breakfasts was toasted brioche with caramelised oranges and creme fraiche. Unfortunately this is no longer on the menu however I am pleased to say that their current menu... Was very much looking forward to checking this place our, as it's been in the Wellington dining scene for many years. Unfortunately, the food for me and my guest didn't live up to expectations - in fact, it fell well short. Having mentioned an issue with my meal, all I got from the maître d' was a look of distain... I like the name Elements. And in some ways the restaurant / cafe goes in that direction. A simple glass fronted exterior on a corner site. The three large dining spaces look quite simple - banquette seating, pale wooden tables and chairs, simple blue and cream walls. Cutting into the blue, the amber lighting almost makes it cosy. I've been... More

Brunch before graduation was the occasion; there is a great selection of healthy choices including a beetroot and haloumi salad which was delicious, more tempting and energy dense items also available, should you wish. Excellent coffee, had to have two, the atmosphere is casual, staff really friendly and competent, the large floral arrangements are a nice touch, a most enjoyable... More

Elements Café in Lyall Bay ought to be good. It won the award for best café in Wellington last year, and generally it doesn’t disappoint. It did on Sunday for me anyway, and with one of its signature dishes – the liver with caramelized onions and mushrooms. This dish used to be served on mash but now it comes with... More

Six of us landed here for brunch last weekend, and everything was absolutely delicious. The menu is extensive and imaginative -- truly something for everyone. Portions are large; the service was friendly; and the place was hopping. Kudos to the kitchen...a well-deserved five stars!

By the recommendation of local friends, three of us have found this cafe for lunch. We have driven past this place several times without realising this is a great cafe. The location is brilliant - between the main road of Lyall Bay, the cornor of Onepu and the Wha street. To our surprise, the staffs were really friendly and also... More
