Brought my daughter here for some post shopping afternoon tea. We ordered a hot Choc, a latte and a piece of fudge. My latte was terrible, mostly froth & really bitter. The piece of fudge we were given was the tiny end piece, there were plenty of others in the platter, but the staff selected the smallest piece, which stung... More

I enjoyed brunch with 3 others on a Saturday morning. Food was delicious and coffee nice. A pleasant ambience and good service. Would go back on my next visit to Wellington.

Having read great reviews, we went there for breakfast. There is nothing wrong with it but in a city where the break $$$ are widely spread one can't sit back on one's laurels and expect to draw the customers a second time when the choice is so good. Firstly, counter service?? It is not a deli i.e. it doesn't sell... More

Dixon Street Deli had a great selection of food. Comfortable and spacious. Good coffee and attentive staff.

Food and coffee is always excellent but why not open earlier on a Sunday, especially after a big game in the city the night before when out-of-town visitors are about? Adult son and I had two big breakfasts, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee. Brilliant.

Staying close to this place, I thought i would try it for lunch. Was after a good salad and previous reviews seemed positive, so in I went. I ordered the grilled chicken salad off the menu board rather than from the cabinet. For 18 dollars I thought it would be something special. Big mistake. Whilst I have to grant there... More

We went here for breakfast after WOW. The place was not too busy, and the cabinet looked great but it was breakfast we were after. Looking at the blackboard menu at about 10.30 a.m on a Sunday I chose the Breakfast of the Day, but they had sold out! Okay, disappointed that it was still on the board I changed... More

I never visit Wellington without stopping in at the Dixon Street Deli. The service is good, the setting is great, and the selection of food is extensive, attractive and always quite delicious. They also cater really well for the vegetarian palate.

What a wonderful find on weekend in Wellington. Salad choice was great. Staff and patrons in line very helpful with eating suggestions. Well priced for quality of food. Does not serve alcohol, nice coffee.

A regular for lunch here - always great food. Outstanding selection from the cabinet or the board menu. Good service, good atmosphere and a long history in Wellington that continues to evolve and serve fresh, healthy, great looking and tasting food. Do a damn fine coffee a well.
