Lunch was rather overpriced for simply a salmon potato cake heated out of the cabinet with a pre made cabinet side salad. Maybe a sauce/chutney garnish would have added a bit of an extra touch. Tables Were slow being cleared and service at the counter was slow and unfriendly. Not somewhere I would go back to

We has high hopes after hearing good reviews and decided to try here for breakfast. I opted for the buckwheat porridge and my sister eggs florentine. Mine was stone cold and hers all cold bar the poached egg. No idea what happened... Service was also slow though friendly. Nice varied menu and maybe the lunch is better but unfortunately we... More

Found this place on a previous trip to New Zealand 7 years ago and went back hoping it was still good - and we weren't disappointed. We had salads to take away and eat whilst watching the cricket and they were lovely. Would highly recommend the mango ice tea and the banana smoothie.

This place has been in Wellington for a long time and has a wide range of delicious food and drink on the menu. I haven't been there for a while but the couple of times I have been there I enjoyed it.

Stopped in here for lunch and was impressed with the selections and quality on offer. Service was prompt and efficient and the tea delightful. Do check this place out if you are in the vicinity.

Best fresh food and service all year round. Not much space so plan when you want to eat. Between 12 - 2pm very busy. We normally have a brunch at 10am then we are able to get a table.

We were trying to find a nice place for breaky on a Sunday morning in Wellington. We had been down Cuba Street, without much luck so were pleased to discover Dixon St Deli. Okay to the customer service was not the friendliest we have experienced in Wellington but the food was good. Nice light and fluffy scrambled eggs and really... More

We had breakfast on Saturday morning, my husband had the big breakfast & I had French toast with banana & bacon. Both of us only had one element that was hot in our meals. My banana was warm, but French toast and bacon were both stone cold. My husbands eggs were hot, but everything else on the plate wasn't even... More

This place is a great little cafe. Delicious food and baked goods. Great to sit outside and people watch while sipping on some coffee and having lunch or a snack.
