Travelled through North and South Islands for 3 weeks and the best meal of the whole trip was in the Boulcott Street Bistro. Excellent food and service. Not cheap but well worth it.

Great food and ambience! Do yourself a favour by ordering the lamb rack. A serving consists of 5 precious lamb racks. Service was fast and meticulous. We were very pleased with the honest staff, Fergus. My husband left behind his bag. I called the restaurant and he kept it for us till we return to collect. Thumbs up for food... More

Great service with memorable food. Wine and beer selection good. Reasonable compact and conversations had to be loud to hear neighbors.

We were politely shown to the bar where we relaxed and admired some of the artwork whilst enjoying a delicious pinot noir as our table was made ready. The meal and the service were... More

Had a fantastic dinner here tonight. Ambiance was great, staff were friendly and attentive. We were invited to wait at the bar for a short while while a table was prepared. Food was amazing!! We will be back next time we visit Wellington.

I went for dinner and had an excellent time and meal. The staff and manager were able to change a few sides and sauces because I can't eat gluten or fructose. The steak was very well cooked and they changed the chips with truffle mash. The calamari was also cooked differently than normal so I could enjoy it. I will... More
