Al fresco pizzeria

We ate there a few days ago. It;s easy to find - on the restaurant row on Courtney. I spent 36 NZ dollars (about $27) and got a very nice small pizza with tomato, basil and buffalo mozzarella, a pint of Pin Point beer and a small side salad. The food was fresh and they hustled to get our... read more

I'm a real foodie and love LOVE Italian food. This place was amazing! Tucked away in a cosy narrow place that you think couldn't possibly fit a kitchen let alone tables and chairs it felt like a home. Being a part of retail sales, I can comfortably say the waitstaff here are professionals in personalised service. As we were sitting... More

Service was excellent including the small gift bags the waiter brought our children. I'd recommend families go early to avoid crowds and rowdy nightlife. Pizza and pastas both great--very reminiscent of Italy. Desserts were excellent! Highly recommended.

We had dinner at Pizzeria Napoli at Valentine's Day. The restaurant was full and we stayed outside. Despite the wind, they have a heater on the top that was enough to warm us. I ordered Mushroom Pizza with vegan cheese ($4 extra) and my husband ordered a Calzone. It was the first time that I have eaten vegan cheese on... More

I don't know why I have never heard of this place before, and I truly wish I did. I realised I just spent years of my life eating sub standard pizza, until I tried their Pizza. The dough was perfect, the toppings just to my liking. The pasta was al dente, just perfect. Even the calamari was to die for.... More

Despite the small size of the restaurant, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, managing to fit in all comers at the time we were there. The wait staff thoroughly explained the menu. The pasta was delicious - as were the desserts. Food was served in a reasonable amount of time, despite the restaurant being full. Menu has child sized... More

Although it is busy tiny place but no regrets for food, thing they should also consider is service. Or might be shortagr of staff or no idea about huge rush anyway overall it was good.

We love this restaurant which is tiny and always rushed and packed with people. The staff are always friendly despite the rush. We enjoy the pizza in particular and if you need to be out by a particular time they will (usually) manage this. It is sometimes a little stressful eating there because of being packed in like sardines, but... More

Great service from the guys here which will bring us back and the pizzas hit the mark- some seasoning needed but thats fine. Only downside was the location which is right next to a busy party bar so if you are dining late then avoid sitting on the outside tables as it becomes a bit messy and loud.

We as a family (with two youngish kids), went here for a meal. Restaurant is pretty small but well presents and clean. Staff accommodation to children, not rushed and attentive. Meal was fine, good pizza options for all, and certainly options other than pizza. Well priced, pizza about NZD24 and deserts say NZD10-12. A kids menu was available. 2 Pizza's... More
