Great location, OK food

Was turned away as the employee was uncertain of the conditions of a hotel voucher for a cooked breakfast at this establishment.

I stumbled upon Smith the Grocer, & so glad I did. Friendly atmosphere, with such attention to detail in the old books & tins that make up the window displays. The tea was great, can't really go wrong with that I guess! The ginger slice I also had was delicious, & there were a huge number of tasty looking morsels... More

Stopping off in Wellington on a cruise - this place was great for lunch. I recommend their home made pies/quiche style. Great value and good coffee/tea.

We waited 25 minutes for a coffee and a tea. The coffee is good though. I think that there are better options in Wellington

Well located in a lovely old arcade. We breakfasted twice and were more than happy both times. It has an interesting array of offerings and when we requested something not on the menu it was provided without fuss. Good coffee.

Amazing vanilla latte. Coffee not burnt, milk perfect and very nice place to sit and chat. Had my almost 9 yr old with me. She loved her hot chocolate

Was not very busy but 2 coffees and a hot chocolate took at least 30 minutes. The staff were okay. Lots of gluten free options which is nice for people with food intolerance.

Arrangement between Quest Wellington and Smith the Grocer is for a delicious breakfast. If I wanted a snack I would have gone to McDonalds!
