Gotta eat here!

Excellent menu options and beverage choice. Excellent decor and service. This is a top end restaurant well worth a visit at top end of Cuba St surrounded by quaint shopping.

If you are wanting top notch food you can't go wrong here!! Always been one of our top restaurants in NZ. With Wellington on a Plate ladies did lunch here. Beautiful food, Calamari & Hoki starter, & the winning dish of brined chicken with lime pickle & Dahl, as always perfect presentation & flavour combinations outstanding. Washed down with an... More

The food and service can't be beaten for a special occasion. This is a chance to have top quality food in relatively relaxed surroundings making it comfortable for everybody. The only slight downside for us was that it was quite noisy when we were there (earlyish on a Friday night). There was a large group of people who stood in... More

Went during the Wellington food festival "Wellington on a plate". Logan Brown had a New Orleans inspired long brunch with live jazz. I guess firstly you need to accept this is a top-end restaurant, so it's not cheap, having said that, we thought it was value for money. It was truly excellent - not a comment I use that often!... We arrived early, so we had a nice cocktail at the bar. The cocktail list is nice, as well as the drinks. Then we move on to our table for the degustation menu. Up to the paua which are heaven, everything was fine... Then came, very slowly, the mains. They were very average. The meat was overcooked, the flavours random.... More

I was luckily enough to enjoy the glitz of Logan Brown twice in as many weeks. It was a a friend's high tea for her birthday and I've done high tea before and this was very pretty good but not exceptional. There were options on a menu with just tea/coffee, bubbles or champagne or a cocktail. The food was good... More

It was Japanese theme at the time we went to this restaurant. Lovely and clean establishment. The service was good and friendly staff were able to assist with wine selection. We enjoyed the slow cooked pork belly. Very good fine dining experience.

Came here last week during a weekend getaway to Wellington. Had the set price "Wellington on a Plate" menu. Great, inventive food, friendly yet attentive service, beautiful setting. Wish I lived in Wellington so I could go back again!

Great service and the lovely dining room added to a great meal in a great restaurant. My favorite for the night was the Lamb rack, very tiny and so well cooked, pink and warm with Pancetta and Kale gratin, simply delicious.Absolutely beautiful food, beautiful presentation, quality service from an excellent waiter, who was very helpful with wine choices, but unobtrusive... My friend and I had a very pleasant time dining at Logan Brown, nice cozy seating, wait staff who don't stare you down too much and a classy ambience. I was disappointed to find there was a ligament in my meat - I nearly choked on it. Luckily staff were apologetic and took the meal off the bill.
