The food was good, even though only one cook in the open-plan kitchen. The noise from the kitchen extractor fan, the clattery floors and echoing walls made it a place to which we would not return. Service was slapdash and casual. Poor winelist without dates of vintages. $170 for 2 inc wine.

Cute little place with really yum food. The vegetarian entree was delicious and we enjoyed our two pasta mains. Only a few vegetarian options on the menu though. Had two lovely wait staff serving us. There was a bit of an annoying buzzing sound as we sat close to the kitchen, no biggie but just sit closer to the windows... More

I've been twice, and both times I had the steak which was amazing. We also had amazing service, and the lady told us where to purchase one of the wines we had not seen before. Definitely recommend it.

A friendly, warm welcome comes free with some well practiced recipes. Consistent with other feedback, the creative menu is the point of difference along with some well priced wines at Two Souls. The ambience is loud, chatty and lively, décor is rustic and relaxed. You could do much worse.

As we entered the restaurant, our hearts sank ... the maitre d' had forgotten to mention to us that a wedding party was booked for the evening, and we were one of only 3 or 4 tables not connected. Our trepidation was assuaged by exceptionally friendly and attentive service. The waiter did not push us to order starters; we were... More

Visited one evening for an early dinner and left afterwards very impressed. The waitress was friendly and attentive and the food top notch. We had chicken wings and roti with lemon butter for entree and the roti in particular was fantastic. We both had the beef tournedos for main and these were melt in the mouth perfection. Prices are reasonable... More

Two Souls looks like your average small bar, but the food is top-notch. Just as well I booked, because it filled up while we were there and they had to turn customers away. In Welly, with its plethora of restaurants, that's something. Staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. I ordered the Cajun blackened fish; wife had the beef tornado... More

Three of us went to dine here on the recommendation of others - and we loved it. The food was superb - from entrees to dessert. It was beautifully presented and generous - and we all loved what we ordered. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be going back.

We walked to the restaurant in gale wind and horizontal rain. When we opened the door the staff rushed to great us and take our coats. Seemed like we had found a very welcoming shelter from the storm. My husband enjoyed his cajun fish dish and my seafood and pasta dish was what I expected - ie no surprises good... More

We stumbled across this place as it was in the Entertainment Book and I'm always looking for a bargain ;) Anyway, the place was great. The food was lovely, it was not overly complicated food but presented beautifully and a menu that catered for everyone. My partner had the chicken livers as an entree and the beef medallions which he... More
