It could almost be described as tucked out of the way as, although it is almost opposite Te Papa museum, it's easily overlooked by people looking along Courtney Place or Allen and Blair. But it deserves to be better known. The food here is always great. Good quality, beautifully cooked and presented and there is always something really interesting on... More

Visited this retaurant for dinner last week on recomendation from the "At Home" hotel. I can highly recommend it. After abtter than average Garlic Bread starter I moved onto the Cajun blackened fish. Others in this thread mention this dish - it was delicous. I have never encontered this way of serving fish before and will be looking out in... More

Enjoyed one dinner; was within walking distance of accommodations. Staff engaging, efficient and helpful. Extensive menu and nice wines available. Food was promptly served and properly prepared- calamari for entree and seafood fettuccine and beef tournedos as mains. Pleasant evening and highly recommend.

Consistently good food - especially the fillet steak, garlic bread and roti with lemon butter...always good. If you are lucky enough to get Sherry serving you - you will be blown away by her attentive, thoughtful and over and above service...all with a smile. I have been going here for years and I love it. Friends I have take have... More

Night out for dinner. Two Souls chosen and did not disappoint, well food and service wise anyway. Delicious food, wonderful service and reasonably priced. The only disappointment was the poor acoustics. The restaurant was reasonably full but the noise made it difficult to hear and talk. As the night went on people left did it become more acceptable. Despite that... More

Following a baby-forced exile, we finally returned to our favourite Wellington restaurant, Two Souls. Thankfully, nothing has changed during our absence. The place still buzzes without being over-busy. The staff still manage that difficult balance of being efficient, yet still being sweet and attentive. And the food is still as delicious and great value as ever. Plus, the Chicken Livers... More

So my wife n I with a Korean lady n Japanese lady dined here last night. Totally satisfied with the entree of seafood chowder with garlic bread, then Cajun blackened fish (gurnard) for main and cream brulee n tart for dessert. Definitely a classy upmarket restaurant without costing an arm and a leg. :)

Came here for dinner on Friday night because it was close to where I was staying and it had good reviews on tripadvisor. The place was busy, but the staff were attentive. Ordered the beef tournedos which was lovely. Would return to try something else on their menu

I was in town alone and read about this restaurant and this dish specifically, and since is was close to my hotel, I am glad I tried it. Very cozy place with good service. Full bar with interesting drinks menu and nice wines. I started with the garlic bread. Very good, and very bad!! I ate three pieces. If they... More
