The one word I use to sum up my dining experience at two souls is "confused". To begin with the red-light district decor/lighting effect felt dirty and cheap. The menu was an unusual mix of French, Italian and Asian influences and the prices and styles of the dishes ranged from takeaways style dishes to attempted upmarket bistro meals. The food... More

So my wife n I with a Korean lady n Japanese lady dined here last night. Totally satisfied with the entree of seafood chowder with garlic bread, then Cajun blackened fish (gurnard) for main and cream brulee n tart for dessert. Definitely a classy upmarket restaurant without costing an arm and a leg. :)

From the time you arrive until the time you leave, this is a wonderful dining establishment. Has a very good menu. One of us had a lamb shank and the lamb just fell off the bone and was beautifully cooked through and tasted just wonderful. Staff very good and attentive.

We dined at Two Souls twice during our recent trip to Wellington. The second visit was because the first was so good, and we were still impressed after round two. The food is excellent, the service top class and the prices quite reasonable. The Cajun blackened fish was great, and all dishes were nicely presented. We will go again next... More

This was our 3rd visit to Two Souls and it didn't disappoint. The Atmosphere was lovely and not too noisy. Just perfect for catching up with old friends. Because we usually eat at ethnic restaurants I can't go past the steak even though there are many other delicious choices on the menu. The steak was perfectly cooked and was so... More

Came here for dinner with family(2 adults and 2 little kids under 5). Great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff. We were made very welcomed. Staff helped entertain our kids as well and provided them with colouring activity. The restaurant is very clean and tidy, nicely setup. Warm lighting with calm music that makes you really relaxed. Suits couples and family with... More

It could almost be described as tucked out of the way as, although it is almost opposite Te Papa museum, it's easily overlooked by people looking along Courtney Place or Allen and Blair. But it deserves to be better known. The food here is always great. Good quality, beautifully cooked and presented and there is always something really interesting on... More

Visited this retaurant for dinner last week on recomendation from the "At Home" hotel. I can highly recommend it. After abtter than average Garlic Bread starter I moved onto the Cajun blackened fish. Others in this thread mention this dish - it was delicous. I have never encontered this way of serving fish before and will be looking out in... More

Enjoyed one dinner; was within walking distance of accommodations. Staff engaging, efficient and helpful. Extensive menu and nice wines available. Food was promptly served and properly prepared- calamari for entree and seafood fettuccine and beef tournedos as mains. Pleasant evening and highly recommend.
