A great find

We met some fellow travelers who were in Wellington the week before and they recommended this place. It's not really fancy but the service and the food were absolutely top class. We put it in the top 5 places we ate in during our 35 day trip around NZ

Overall the key word for the meal is average. I am bemused as to why this place is one of the top restaurants on trip advisor for wellington. The garlic bread was pretty tasty but the gnocchi entree was very bad. The gnocchi was bland, halloumi odd and the bread average. I said to the waitress that the gnocchi was... More

We have visited this restaurant several times. The food has been consistently excellent, we order garlic bread with mushrooms as starter and mostly fillet steak for main dish. Proprietor and staff are friendly, and service is excellent. Food portions are value for money.

We found this restaurant near our hotel. We were looking for somewhere to eat reasonably quickly as we were going on the night safari at Zealandia in the evening. What a find! Very nice inside, very friendly waitress, excellent food. My wife had cannelloni, I had chicken roulade, both were delicious, and with a couple of drinks the bill was... More

We have been to "Two Souls" several times over the last 18 months and it is always a great experience - delicious food, lovely service and nice ambience. We highly recommend the roti with lemon butter as a starter - yummy!

One of our favorite restaurants in Wellington. The service is always friendly and we have popped in for a quick meal before going to a show and they were very accommodating knowing we had limited time available. A friendly and relaxing place where you never feel rushed with good food and service.

Excellent service late in the evening; food was excellent. Rather quirky place we enjoyed. Waitress was very helpful to 4 Americans on vacation.

As a single traveller I often find it quite daunting trying to find somewhere to have an evening meal, where you're not either plonked in the middle of the room for everyone to look at, or hidden away in a corner and ignored. But this restaurant has to be the exception and an absolute gem of a find. From the... More

It was a quiet Tuesday evening and there was only a few customers. Best part of the dinner was th every nice and good humour service. My husband took pork ribs as starter. They were very good. I took chicken liver as a starter and it was very good too. My lamp shank was quiet normal, not good, not bad.... More

We walked in on a Monday with no reservation and were immediately seated. The lady who served us was incredibly friendly and kind, the food came in a reasonable time and was absolutely delicious. I had fish of the day and my partner had the blackened cajun fish. Partnered with perfect wine and a very cosy atmosphere. Would recommend highly.
