I'm not sure if there is another cafe that could pip this place at the post. Superb coffee, great menu, awesome service. Not sure what else they can do to make this place better.

Visited some friends who took us out for coffee during a stay in Wellington. Had a great coffee at this spot along with some delcious cake. Again another spot to re-visit on our way back.

After a morning walk around the streets of Wellington my wife and I were ready for a good cup of coffee so we headed to Caffe L'Affare where we had brunched on previous visit to Wellington - about two years earlier. This time we again enjoyed excellent coffee and fruit filled counter top muffins. I am pleased we went out... More

Needed to go shopping opposite so got going early and thereby missed the real rush. The place has a great ambience with a large number of well trained and organized staff, that were very pleasant. Great menu rand the food was just as great. We will be back.

We arrived during the extremely busy lunchtime period, but was lucky enough to get a table. The lively buzz of the restaurant adds to the charm and we were welcomed warmly by our server Maria, who was so helpful and friendly. Coffee is really great here, and my Mocha was delicious. I especially loved the addition of a chocolate on... More

I was lucky enough to be working just around the corner from l"affare last week during a business trip to Wellington so I treated myself to breakfast twice, and coffee several times over the two days. he mushrooms on ciabatta with a side of glorious bacon was beautiful, and if the portion had been any larger I would have over-eaten,... Hadn't been here for years and revisited recently. Went at 11.30 thinking would beat the lunch rush but was still really busy and crowded especially lots of Mum's and toddlers/babies - yuck (yes I have 3 kids but when out I don't want to be surrounded by other people's kids). A lot of big communal tables which I can't stand.... More

Very busy for Sunday breakfast but we were seated very promptly and the service was fast - the food was substantial, tasty, well cooked and presented. Great atmosphere. Well priced for this standard of food and service.
