Delicious hot chocolate

I adore Scopa's hot chocolate, it is the real deal not some hot chocolate powder mixed into milk and water. Thick and creamy, it is poured from an urn into the cup then topped with fresh cream. You will be wanting a spoon to get the last few mouthfuls out of the cup. If you are dining in then I... read more

Family dinner last week to try the WOAP menu. I have to admit that it was a great value and I love this place but the food was just k. I tried the Confit Meat Direct chicken and the Beetroot pappardelle, the pasta was original and it had good flavours. For dessert the Affogato was a little bit disappointing. I... More

Went for Wellington on a Plate and the food was okay - just okay. We had the burger and the patty was the disappointing part, the rest was tasty enough. The service was good though so kudos on a busy Saturday night!

Went on a Sunday night, 5 of us. Parking: Was ok, (being a Sunday night), midweek - catch a taxi. Access is straight in off the street, greeting was warm and friendly, this carried on throughout the evening. Menu is a mix of western/Italian + pizza etc. Service was quick and efficient, food was tasty and well presented. The couple... More

Friends and I dined here recently. The food was OK. The service was a bit lax. The worst example was when the waitress leant right over the table to pour me water. The jug ended up right in my face, so I turned my head while she did it. When I looked back, I found that she had poured water... More

We had a fantastic dinner here during Wellington on a plate. The meals were delicious. We love this place in the heart of Wellington. Great service by the friendly staff. A must do when dining out in Wellington.

We met here to have breakfast with friends. The food was great, coffee excellent and the hot chocolate highly recommended. The staff were very good and helpful. If you're on a budget then probably not the best place as prices were on the higher side.

My partner and I went in for a casual celebratory dinner on a Monday night :-) we were served by the brilliant Jeremy who was fun and friendly from the beginning with a lot of good recommendations and banter! Made the evening :-) also the olive oil gelato was to die for!!! Definitely be back soon!

Had a meeting with a colleague here recently. Only ate a light snack (avocado on toast) but did enjoy some great coffee and an ambient atmosphere on ever popular Cuba street. From what I saw of them, the pizzas looked delicious and are on my radar for my next trip to Wellington

One of the most outstanding hot chocolates I have ever drank. We visited it twice to fill that craving of the lingering good drink. It would be a kept secret in making the hot chocolate taste so good but it can be evident that most tables beside us all ordered it too. Highly recommend for the hot chocolate for anyone... More
