Yum yum yum, this little bakery has the BEST almond croissants in town. Pick up a coffee in the attached café next door and head down to the beach.

Although the bakery is an absolute favourite of mine, my friend and I decided to try the cafe, which we found terribly disappointing. First my drink came out after around 10-15 minutes which was a coke float, she did admit she poured the wrong soda, but still its about a 1 minute job. Not only that but our meals came... More

Discovered this little delight on our visit. Pastries great! Coffee good and a lovely atmosphere. Went bavk a few times. Tried $10 brekki & pancakes. Not great. Baking is better. Rather charge more and learn to make a poached egg. Pancakes over decorated and too sweet. Separate sauce next time. Recommend.

Here is the place to go for one of the great New Zealand culinary experiences. Not the fancy stuff you get at Huka Lodge or Logan Brown or the French Cafe. No, this is basic - the pie. With all the warnings we get these days about the inherent dangers of cholestrol-laden food and high sugar/salt content, there is something... More

I am always in search of the best kiwi pie and am most delighted to find one in New Plymouth. I tried their steak and mushroom pie and it was yummy! Real steak and not too salty (most pies are too salty). The crust is good too. They have other good specialty breads as well like foccacia, rye and croissant,... More

Good to have a bakery and cafe option in Fitzroy location. Bakery provides great pies and selection of sweet options. Great having a genuine bakery that does not churn out plastic looking and generic tasting food. Cafe is well located and has good atmosphere, prices are a little on the high side for cafe options as portions are small but... More

The bakery produces consistently good food - including the pies! The cafe has great food and offers excellent coffee and a range of seating options that cater for different weather conditions. If you are over in the eastern side of town, this is a great choice.

Everything I've had has been very good. Best bread on this side of town. Good cafe. Recommend.

We go here all the time, i rate them as the best pies i've had in years, in fact i'd say that about most of their food in the bakery, great cakes , fresh bread. We go to the cafe around the back heaps too, we have 3 young children and the cafe let you get pies from the shop... More
