Large portions, come with an appetite

The veggie burger I had was delicious and overly large. Every plate we saw come out of the kitchen had huge portions. Definitely get the quantity for a good price.

I've been here regularly, I think the food is really nice and the beers go down sweet! Sometimes the bands that play aren't the best but still seem to play the classic tunes!

The setting is amazing, a pub with history serving a huge selection of drinks and a varied menu. The food is well priced compared to other restaurants, may even be slightly cheaper than average. The quality of the food was very good it was seasoned and prepared very nicely.

Our trip to Rotorua coincided with the Super Rugby match between the Chiefs and the Bulls being played in town. We probably first chose this pub, because of its beautiful exterior and it was just as charming inside. After having a couple of drinks watching the game on one of many big screens we decided to eat there as well.... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Hardy, and one of the two best restaurants in Hardy, Highland and Horseshoe Bend. There are some items that are strictly British, as one would expect, but great food overall...you can't go wrong.
