This pub is in an old Police Station and is beautifully presented. Beers is good, service was adequate but the food was completely amazing. Huge serves, incredible flavours! If you can grab a spot by the fire in winter, you will not want to leave.

Held a 50th birthday party in the private function room last weekend. The food was fantastic and cooked to everyone's liking. The service on the night was awesome and dealing with Rosie leading up to the event was easy and her service was great. The function room met our needs perfectly.... would highly recommend

The food was very nice. I found in New Zealand strange things were put together In food and it put me off but here I found a nice simple meal that could have fed 6. It was a huge plate full of food. The kids meal could have fed my partner and I. They weren't the cheapest but I thought... More

Called in here for a drink and quick bite last sunday night, clean, place, friendly staff and the Guinness was perfect. Has the mixed breads and dips which was good, not great but will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu

Once again we needed a warm spot with some atmosphere as All blacks were playing Argentina . With a cold Cider in hand a generous portion of double cooked pork belly with Bourbon sauce we couldn't go wrong. By the way we won.

My wife & I had a light lunch of a yummy chicken burger and sumptuous steak sandwich. The steak was a porterhouse and the chicken had 2 fillets. Lucky we could walk it off around Rotorua.

My husband and I have had dinner here the last two times we have visited Rotorua, both time the food has been fantastic and the service great. The first time we had a steak meal, cooked to perfection, second time we went for what we thought was a lighter meal, oh my gosh, the meal sizes were huge. The staff... More

Food is generously portioned--just tight for dinner after a long day of hiking and touring. Delicious lamb!
