Breathtaking views in the gondolas & fantastic fun in the luge, learner & scenic. The only negative point was that there was a huge line for the luge.
My family and i were looking forward to a family night out and decided to go to skyline skyrides. We had planned it this morning and were to go after i finished work. When we arrived i asked if the swing was operating. The man in the ticketing booth replied we are closed. Dissapointed i asked what time do you... More
Enjoyed my trip up the Gondola very much, with great views over Rotorua and surrounding districts. I had several rides on the Luge and enjoyed this and the ride in the chairlift back to the top again. While there, went on the 4D movie/space ride, which I found uninteresting but somewhat tame compared to others I have been to and... More
We met some friends from NZ who suggested the restaurant for dinner as well as the view of Rotorua so we booked for 730pmtocatch the sunset. The price of the gondola return trip p,us the buffet was certainly worth the cost. The view brilliant and a novel way to get to the top. The food selection incredible and dessert well... More
Not the first time here and great fun, get there early (just after opening) and there are no crowds which makes it even more fun. I thought the Gondola and five rides at $48.00 was good value for money. Will certainly be back again.
Read several negative reviews prior to our trip about the cost food quality. We found it very reasonable considering the cost of dining in NZ. True the food was Average as is usually the case with buffets that I generally don't like to begin with. But the desserts made up for the food! There was an assortment of cakes, ice... More
we had high hopes when we visited this place for dinner on our trip to Rotorua. We thought it would be full of delicious food but the food was quite average. There was not much of a selection and most of the meats seemed dry. They seated us and left with us having to get our own drinks and water.... More
Overpriced. Weird ambience - mainly tourists but some locals (perhaps?) who seemed to be there for a romantic night out but looked totally out of place surrounded by Chinese tour parties and screaming kids. The few consolations were the pleasant waiting staff and the views. However, the manager was far more interested in making us pay before we sat down... More
Bf & I went here on the 29/12 around 7.30pm for their buffet dinner whilst on holiday in Rotorua. We had so much high hopes as we have been here 2 years ago for their lunch buffet and also have eaten at the Skyline Queenstown twice for dinner and those times were all soo good. So where to start: •... More
We reserved the buffet table to make our evening interesting . However we were disappointed with the variety and quality of food and desserts available. The buffet was expensive and did not live up to expectations. Service and views were great
