Keeping up with their prior success, Capers has been named, once again, Cafe of the Year 2011. Come in and try our winning formula of great food and superior staff.

Food & service as good as this in a smaller town is hard to find, well done guys. A quality bistro that always has something to tempt or excite.

We stayed at the Quest hotel where they recommended this restaurant. Since it was a Sunday and the only open restaurant around we had dinner here. What a find! The food was amazing! So good, in fact, that we decided to have breakfast at this restaurant as well. Not only was the food delicious, the staff was super friendly!

Visited Capers this evening after watching a movie at the Cinema. Arrived at 8.30pm, not realizing the restaurant closed at 9pm. Brooke was very welcoming. We enjoyed the Chicken Platter for two and it was reasonably priced.

Visited Capers for breakfast and it was slowly filling up with crowds. The menu has enough variety to satisfy everyone. We ordered big breakfast and French toast with strawberries. The deli shop on the side of this cafe is great, there is so many selections of gourmet teas and prices were quite reasonable. The atmosphere, food and service is quite... More

Stopped here for a late lunch during our day in Rotorua. Loved the food and the staff was great. Lots to choose from like gourmet sandwiches and heartier meals. Bakery had a delicious looking section and the coffee bar was nice too.

I'm a local but I just love taking visitors to Capers at any time of the day or night. Food is excellent - best in Rotorua; staff are amazingly friendly while being great workers, and the experience is something not to be missed. The night time dining experience is something you won't get anywhere else - top place. My visitors... More

Simply this is one of the nicest restaurant we been too and probably best in Rotorua. We liked it so much that we eaten there 3 times during our six stay. Food menu had a hint of familiarity and adventure. Food came out on time and waiting staff were great.

We had been here previously but not for dinner. We were very happy with our meals and had a child with us so appreciated that they had a kids menu. What really stood out was the service from our waitress Tammy. Unfortunately customer service in NZ can often be average but she was excellent.
